      I'm tapping the lift channel against the lockbar.

    Lucky you the glass was in great shape.
    I don't think this works with a glass of unknown origin without any further measures like heat or something.

      Tempered glass doesn't like un-uniform heat. That's why it can break just by handling it or moving from cold to hot environment quickly. Any Pinball glass with art on it should be tempered. So it's strong. No luck, just 25 years of doing this.

      @@popbumper thanks for your explanation. I guess I was lucky then.
      I had a Night Rider backglass with a very rusty trim. The trim was so stuck in one side, I had to use heat to losen it.

      @@smallsoldier1663 I have had a rusty lift before and it was very hard to break loose. I think I sprayed a liberal amount of wd40 or similar, and let it sit for a couple days. Glad yours worked out.
