Look at all these people making positive comments about your work! Does that not make you want to always do better? And, I too have spent many hours on the job with you and have enjoyed all of it! Let's gitter done!
So are the Thumb Attachment on the Dipper Arms an added extra when purchasing your Machines Chris or do they come as Standard in the US? Only reason I ask is I never Operated using one in the UK either in Civil or Military Construction.
Nice job! What kinda trucks y'all run or do y'all use contract haulers? Wouldn't mind seeing some of the trucks sometime if you get the chance. Enjoy the videos as always!
We've burnt a few at our Dept, but with Department of Insurance and OSHA in good Ol NC they would rather us use the Multi Million Dollar Training Center. But we've put a few on the Ground,Training on them.Damn NC is just Strict with Instructors for us and Permits for the Property Owners a lot of Property Owners just have it tore down to avoid all the Red Tape.Any ways just lookin through some of your old videos Happy New Year Chris.
That was a grate video thank you. You sure did clean the place up well. Are you going to be doing the car park for them? Looking forward to seeing your next video. Regards Richard.
Very interesting video sir. I have never got to see what happened "after" the fire is out. I have been a ff for 20+ years and I am gone long before this takes place.
Just wondering why you don't load all concrete directly into a dump truck OR the dumpster , thus avoiding handling it twice ? Of course , IF your working by the hour then it makes sense !
i had a 45 minute break while the truck goes to dump, therefore i try to rake everything up and get it into a pile so i can load the truck as quick as possible
"seed and straw" this is when you spread seed on the property, then throw straw on top to keep the wind, rain, birds from moving or removing the seed. The straw also helps retain some moisture and adds some organics into the soil when it breaks down.
my dad just dug a hole and buried the remains of my grandparents house in the back yard and left the concrete floor in tact and sold the lot to my uncle when my dad had the house burnt down by the fire department when i was 10 years old
Your projects are always done first class! Thanks for the video.
Great to see the pride you have in doing the job right the first time. Keep the videos coming. Thanks

you make it look so easy, you're a true professional
its just wiggling levers
Fabulous work Sir
Can I ask why you didn't put the dumpster where the first pile was and put it right in then instead of handling it twice?
Awesome job ,looks good !
Wow, like it was never there. That's really amazing!
Another great job.
Nice job as always Chris , is the 140 `s thumb made by Volvo ? it works really well i like the design of it , love your videos keep up the fine work .
I’m 38 and trying to break into this career to get away from my dead end job but I am not having any success. Do you have any advice?
Nice job! What kinda trucks y'all run or do y'all use contract haulers? Wouldn't mind seeing some of the trucks sometime if you get the chance. Enjoy the videos as always!
Never realized that the 140 had a solid back thumb. How do you like that compared to the others?
Excellent job "picking" in that clean-up!

What type of work is the 140 good for vs 160.. can u do the same work with both machines
That concrete in the Porch slab sure was weak. Someone added a lot of water when they poured the concrete.
no rebar at all
It was also heated by the fire, that weakens it quite a bit.
What do you use to spread the straw?
great video good job

yeah gotta give them a price
That machine is like an extension of his body. The man is a surgeon.
Very interesting video sir. I have never got to see what happened "after" the fire is out. I have been a ff for 20+ years and I am gone long before this takes place.
What town is this in? I live in Cary just curious
Relaxing to watch.

OK , that makes perfect sense !
I thought your cleanup job looked great. What is the purpose of the straw?
The straw is to help stop erosion until the grass comes back.
I always had my suspicion about the fire services setting fire to stuff lol
"They let them practice on burning it down" lmao. 15 years in the fire service and sometimes this is very true.
you have the most fun job in the world. i'm so jealous
Did I miss it or were there No Footings?
He said there were no footings
Nice job
When you have the video in fast forward mode, you could easily see what you were doing. I liked that idea.
Neat job though Chris.
Audio is the best part
im outbtoday playing in the dirt, got small job digging a footing job notthing big
How you like the 140
That's why you are a top notch, and the rest are shoemakers!!!

so how many yards of concrete you were cleaning up.? and yeah it looks nice, great work a's always.
could someone explain the straw please
"seed and straw" this is when you spread seed on the property, then throw straw on top to keep the wind, rain, birds from moving or removing the seed. The straw also helps retain some moisture and adds some organics into the soil when it breaks down.

Sweet! so do you have to have the permission of the one contracting you to do this work to post videos of their property on UT
WOW!
Bring out the magnets for all the nails
haha yeah i try to put some dirt over it to cover them up
I guess the fire dept. forgot to show up for that one.
they did a training burn on it. then they let it all burn up
Why not load it into a truck standing by to dump?
who pays for a job like this? the insurance company?
it was a controlled burn, so likely the church who's getting a parking lot, or its a nice freebie.
the customer/ church
nothing like a hyd thumb
No re-bar = Brittle
There is something you don't like about every piece of equipment that you have. Go get the equipment that you want. you aren't getting any younger.
