Thank you very much for this video. I have definitely been guilty of noisy pedalling. And using the pedal when learning a piece. Very helpful tips and reminders 🙂
I always struggle with lifting too high causing a slight bump noise when using the pedal; still trying to rein that issue in. I will definitely use your technique of lifting just after the chord is played to eliminate the choppiness, I am guilty of that as well. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us, we appreciate all the work you and your mom put in to make these videos. 😊
I used to lift my foot too high also. It’s tough to break these habits and often we’re not even aware of them. Thank you so much for your kind words and support! These videos do take a lot of time and effort but when we hear from people like you, it makes it all worth it! 🤗
Really loving and appreciating the tips! Been thinking of getting the revolutionary etude tutorial on your site. How long is the lesson if I may ask? Thanks
@@BrillantePianoLessons amazing. Will be grabbing it sometime this weekend and will let you know. My name is Konstantin. Thank you and looking forward to more videos

Oh thank you so much for letting me know it was helpful! I’ve done my fair share of pedaling don’ts ;)
This is an excellent video. I've never heard of many of these tips. How about a video on the sostenuto pedal?
Thank you so much! Yes I think that’s a great idea. We are always wanting to hear from our audience!

So glad you’re enjoying! Thank you for the comment. 💖
