Hey Molly I get what you mean about Bali but I think you can have a completely different ‘luxury’ experience without really seeing the other side. My family stayed in Anantara and Alila hotels in Ubud, Seminyak, Uluwatu but absolutely loving all your travel vlogs. I defo want to do the backpacker route when I leave home🤩🤩

Philippines is better mainly because there so much activities you can do. Kayaking, mountain climbing, zip lining, you can even rent a boat all day with a tour guide. and also 90% of Filipinos speak english as a second language. Philippines mastered the art of hospitality, unlike other countries Filipino tour guides let tourists explore the place for themselves thats so awesome.
