Do your drawings of cars look misshapen? Is drawing cars particularly difficult for you? The reason and solution may both be in this video waiting for you.. Never find cars a difficult subject again!
i think this was far more helpful for understanding how to see different shapes then as a tutorial on drawing cars, the windows and wheels i would never have looked there for shapes. this will help a lot for many other subjects
Thanks. Yes, I did mention that this applies the same to everything, but it’s probably worth repackaging with a wider range of examples as a general subject. Careful observation is always the key. Have you seen my videos on that topic. I might put them into a playlist. Thanks for the feedback. If you are finding my videos helpful, please tell your friends who draw about my channel. 😀
@@stephentraversart I`ve been enjoying a lot of your videos, but my main focus is to be able to draw everything, the more you branch out the easier it is for me to connect these principles to all the different subjects. The wheel part was helpful because you showed the empty space and not just the wheel witch is all I saw before
@Stephen Travers Art Sadly the one thing I lack experience in is how to practice efficiently, so I gain knowledge but don't really know the best way to practice it
This one is fabulous! How you pick apart the different angles! We need one like this for motorcycles, mopeds, and bikes, Atv four wheelers, snow mobiles…anything that has open gears! I’m avoiding them and we all know what that means!💕💕💕💕💕💕
That’s great Judy. That’s what it’s all about - the impact on your drawing. Please do me a favour and tell your friends who draw about my videos. All the best with your drawing. 😀
@@stephentraversart thank you. I don’t know how to add photo of drawing here for you. I will post drawing in the two Urban sketching groups I belong to with references to your tutorials. Will try and work out how to ‘tag’ you.

I’ve been meaning to take a photo of a truck to use for a video, but the principle is the same. Have a go yourself while you wait for me. 😀
Enjoyed this and found it very helpful. Sketched a car that I am very happy with following your tutorial thank you.

Thanks. Drawing cars was new to me, so I applied the same principles I use for other subjects. Seemed to work. Have fun drawing them. 😀
