I paid $2k this year in college. It was about half of my money at the time. I’m currently lying in bed because my leg is swollen after hooking on a curb and flying into the ground yesterday. Hoping it isn’t broken but electric bikes require a lot of care lol.

Most electric bikes are designed to be replacement for a car to those people who don't need to travel that far. Car will always costs more in couple of years than a electric bike that costs 2-3k. Electricity is much cheaper than fuel not to mention repairs and taxes.

That first one is not a bike, it has a motor hence motorbike. Requires license, insurance, mot and road tax and should never be allowed in cycle lanes.
