I really like this pattern. Im using it for my triangle shawls. I was using another pattern for the border but it was taking me forever to get done so i came across this video. It takes me 2 days to do this border. Works well with thicker weight yarn as well. I was using bernat blanket yarn and i used 5 pegs

But when you wash it won’t it go back the way it was?
I'm trying to make an American flag blanket. How would I create a border using the same colors as the blanket?
