    Should probably compress the voices to the same RMS, Svidler overlaps Magnus a lot with his thicker louder voice. This can be easily fixed by compressing using an audio compressor limiter, the video editor you use has one built-in most probably.

    If someone have lot of time, I am sure an edited version of this would be interesting. Edited so that they "exchange" thoughts instead of sharing simultaneously,.. it will cause create short gabs with the liveboard, but not many seconds. That can be compensated by slowing the visual speed if when they talk much.

    Such a shame how nervous Svidler was in this! Yeah Carlsen was right, he respects him waaay too much. Svidler got in his own head :(

    • @edwardshowden5511
      @edwardshowden5511 5 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Carlsen respects him because svidler has plus score against magnus in classical :) and svidler always acts like this, his position is always bad :P

    • @mads4387
      @mads4387 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@edwardshowden5511 To both you and Evzal: Your opinions are wrong, and here's why: Svidler does not always act like this. He usually plays with great confidence despite what he says. In this match he just seemed like he wanted to get his loss over with quickly as evidenced by the fact that in all the games he was up several minutes on the clock until he finally blundered and resigned. His problem was clearly lack of confidence as evidenced by the fact that he was so shaken he didn't even acknowledge that fact that he lost while being so much ahead on the clock. Carlsen was actually the slow one here, which is unusual. I guess I have to address the fact that he said that it was his strategy to be up on the clock, since you will bring it up in your inevitable reply, trying to disprove my position with that as a counterpoint. Svidler has played more chess-games than you can even imagine. He is well aware what good time management is, which he did not show in this match, despite what you may think.
      And no, this kind of respect is not deserved, as a better approach to the match by Svidler might have lead to a more favorable score and a more entertaining match - and no, I did not say he was likely to win, I said the score might have been more favorable, as in he might have gotten a few more draws or even a win. Rushing towards defeat instead is therefore giving him way too much respect.

    • @-_Nuke_-
      @-_Nuke_- 5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@mads4387 Carlsen played better chess and he won. All the rest is irrelevant.
      Nobody cares if you spend a ton of time, if you won then you won and that's what Magnus did in all the games.
      Magnus is a better player and hearing Magnus commentary on the position is much more enlightening that hearing Svidler one. Which shows who's boss around here.
      Magnus isn't the WC for nothing. He is a better player and that's the end of the argument.
      Plus I checked every single game with StockFish and Svidler is wrong like half the time where Magnus is playing the computer move EVERY SINGLE GODDAMN TIME.
      Magnus abilities on the endgame are unmatched, I guess only Fabiano at this point can defend against magnus on a sharp drawish endgame, that knowledge has armed Magnus with the extraordinary gift of thinking like the computer, because the computer know that theoretically it cannot gain too much on the middlegame, therefore it plays looking at the endgame at all times - that's how Magnus plays and there is no argument, looking at his games with a computer that he is legit every single time.

    • @mads4387
      @mads4387 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@-_Nuke_- You need to learn how to read. Nobody is arguing over who would win or who's the better player. Nobody. It was actually something I put emphasis on in my comment, so you didn't read it. Either because you can't read or because you can't read and that's the end of the argument.

    • @-_Nuke_-
      @-_Nuke_- 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@mads4387 You said that Svidler respects Carlsen way too much, I don't agree with that. Looking at the match with a computer Carlsen is always right and Svidler just isn't right all the times..., so how can you not respect someone who plays the computer move every single time?
      It's not that Svidler feared Carlsen and lost because of that... Actually Svidler lack of fear got him to lose all those games in the middle game... So actually Svidler does not have enough "respect" for Carlsen its my argument.
      The way you word it, "he respects him waaay too much" sounds like you are saying that Carlsen played doubius and Svidler believed him when he shouldn't have, but actualy is Svidler who played doubious in all 4 games that he lost and got "punished".
