Great video man. While I don't agree that Barnyard is a western (which you explained that it only had elements of) I feel like you did a great job comparing the two films. Keep up the good work!
@@moviemadness2536 Just because it has a "few things in common" doesn't mean it's a western, it's like taking Pacific Rim and calling it a Romance movie because the two main characters bond throughout the move without any romantical feelings there whatsoever. Or calling the fucking Pirates of the Carribbean a Horror because Davy Jones scares a couple of the community members by his appearance.
There not exactly two movies that most would lump together. But I do have a video where I talk solely about Rango, the link's in the description of this video.
Nickelodeon tv shows: hey guys wanna see something funny as hell! Nickelodeon movies: hey guys wanna see something go f hard for no reason. Like I am not wrong right, like I know the last avatar does exist but still.
No way the nickelodeon original about a slacker bull with utters saving a stolen chick compares to the last greatest role Johnny Depp has played since 2011. Rango is a Western more akin to Shane and High Noon. You said it yourself Barnyard is like SpongeBob and Rugrats.
I was more comparing the western elements in them as opposed to which movie is objectively better. I even say right off the bat that Rango is the better movie overall.

Thank you very much. I'm happy you enjoyed the video so much, and thanks for the feedback.
Rango is 100% better. I don't even class Barnyard as a 'western' movie
I explain in the video how Barnyard has quite a few things in common with westerns, it's just not too obvious at first glance.

Yes, I was just looking for a Rango video to watch but none of them even mentioned Barnyard!

Both are classics, but Barnyard has Biggie Cheese so it's a tough call.
Indeed, so it is.
Both are great. Rango is more serious feel
True.
I love both of them
Fair enough.

I'd say that sums it up pretty well.
