    Very smart for the solution to allow you to have the right pressure from the different regs! Good vid, cheers

    Mine took around a month to arrive directly from Boel in Russia. Really good comms from them all the way until it arrived. I got the three different clamps, once thing to add is that i had to adjust the red connectors for different bottles and change from them thinner washer to to the thicker washer to get a good CO2 seal. Installed on the fridge last weekend and have a couple of bottles in the fridge for testing tomorrow. As Tricky has said, tried other different solutions but always found them messy. Boel is a winner and worth the extra costs.

    Cracking review Richard, i don't need one tbh but now i want one...will have add it onto the quite long list of shiny kit that i desperately need :-)

    when you get that inch of foam at the top just give it another blast of co2 before finishing the fill, works for me

    Splitting the gas via a Y splitter was the only mod I've made to mine since setting it up in December.

    Before I bought mine I watched this video to find out what size lines I need. He mentions 3/8 lines but the fittings on the Boel unit are 5/16. At least they are on mine. Getting the right hoses/fittings is the toughest part of the whole process.

    Nice video. Thanks for that!
    Does the line length from the keg to the iTap matter, or not at all since the pressure should be only slightly lower in the bottle?

    • @DudesBrews
      @DudesBrews  ปีที่แล้ว

      it shouldn't really matter but I did end up using some thinner beer line just to make it easier to handle (as its more flexible)

    Hi. Thanks for your review, which (along with others) convinced me to buy an iTap. Just one question about the little red inserts that support the rotating collar that grips the bottles - are there supposed to be two in place, or just one? When I unboxed mine, one of the red inserts was in place, with another loose in the box. I wondered if it was a spare... but should it be fitted? Thanks again.

      @DudesBrews  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      should be fitted, at least it is on mine!

    I have bought one but yet to use it. The malt Miller do a John guest fitting for the end of the shank which makes life easier.
    What level of carbonation was that beer at? I have a weizen bock carbonating in the keg which will be quite highly carbonated so should be a good test.
    Like the big banana style outtake at the end

      Cheers Paul, I couldn’t leave that little blunder out lol. The beer was about 2.6 volumes I think, I poured it pretty quick so I reckon it will be fine if you go very slowly on the valve

    Hi Dudes Brews, just been over at David Heaths channel. Sadly you've probably heard of him. Found your channel and its a million times better. Im looking to start a brewing company (L&J Brews) would find it really helpful if you could make a fun and informative video on how to use a pressure fermentation unit cheaply and effectively. Would be great to hear from you. Thats about it cheers guys Raises perfectly fermented larger

    Great Vid Dickie. Had mine for bloody ages but not got round to setting it up yet 🙄. You leave the gas on the keg at the normal serving level or turn it down a bit?
    I was intending to use a soda stream bottle for gas input to the iTap rather than sharing the keg gas line, but nifty solution you have for that with your setup!
    Cheers mate.

    • @DudesBrews
      @DudesBrews  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Cheers mate! I just left it at serving pressure, I’d maybe consider turning it down if it was a really high carb beer under say 10+ psi

      @@DudesBrews yeah that is what I was thinking - probably dropping it to be about 10psi or so. Cheers

    How much pressure you use?

    • @DudesBrews
      @DudesBrews  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Whatever the serving tap is set to, usually between 6-10psi
