This is extremely interesting to me, thanks for sharing. I’m a genealogist who discovered I’m related to Gene Autry as well as a few others of the era. So many fled from Oklahoma to SoCal, and were extremely talented. Half of these names are in my tree. I’m going to start digging. Cheers.
Over the years I have found I'm related to some of the great stars Ward Bond, Patty Page, Earl Holliman are few I know for sure . We can all find we are related to some of yesterday's star if we check our history .I'm proud to know these facts about my family. I do love the movies from 30- 50 they are good clean movies . Thank you for showing these movies.
Man I could use a Pizza fix right about now...hey, wait a gosh-darn moment - what's this?? Wow, excellent! Just what the doctor ordered - thanks PizzaFlix 💖 🇨🇦
My fourth great grandfather was the first marshal of Doña Ana county NM. His territory eventually included southern Arizona. His direct descendants were extremely musical, earning scholarships to UCLA for their talents (despite learning during the difficult times of the Dust Bowl). I think today it’s easy to take the singing cowboy for granted, but throughout history it is clear that a person who had musical talent would have been much appreciated on any journey. I mean, what else were they to do? Talk about their feelings? Tell the same stories again and again?
And even today Texas and it's citizens are protected by its own rangers, whether in the form of national guard or territorial law enforcement. It seems to be, a Texan stands for pride, character and sacrifice; that's my kind of Texas.
In a movie primarily for children, one of the good guys (the completely unfunny comic relief) has the scruples of an outlaw. Oh, and it's implied that another good guy wanted to poison him with gunpowder. Great role models. Should this be considered "anti-educational" programming?

See if you can get his estate to release his movies to public domain. Generations don't know who he is.

A gem of a show, one can just sit back and enjoy. I do want to get a translation of what the cook said to the pie thief
