I hope you all enjoy my uni room tour - despite the random lighting changes haha, least you get to see the room in different lightings!
I tried to make my room as homely as possible with the fairy lights and candles and probably brought way more than I needed to - but it was worth it to make it more of a home!

ok i know this video is a bit old now but i'm off to uni next year and i have to say the tv idea is an absolute banger! plus it's nice to see a variety of room layouts (even though i'm going to be in a student house next year due to the fact it's a non-major uni in Bristol).

I am a Chinese student studying International AS and A Level, I was inspired by the decorations from the student's vlogs and I wanted to find out more. I also have decorated my home bedroom as well as my school apartment.
I use Apple Reminders or Microsoft To-do as a To-do list on my devices. I usually draw and stick some Great Study Habits stickers (e.g. keep your desk tidy) on the pinboard to let me form better study habits in a long time.

Moving in 2 weeks and im honelty feeling very overwhelmed and anxious. Im quite a disorganised and forgetful person and so this whole moving to uni thing on my own is just so overwhelming. This is given me such a good idea of all ill need for my room!!
I’m so pleased I could help in some way. Please remember how everyone is feeling the exact same way - uni is so scary and intimidating but it’s also so exciting and opens up a whole new world! You’re not and never will be alone.

Honestly! Sometimes I just sit on my window sill and stare out the window in complete silence😂

I have like identical candles at home 😂 also I could never live with those fat bezels 😅 why not use a monitor? Can use it as a "TV" and connect your laptop to it. Honestly didn't expect anyone to have a mini TV in 2021 lol
Omg cool! I found the mini TV in the attic and thought I could use it for uni because it would fit well on my desk - I understand what you mean but I don’t see the point in buying a monitor when I could just use what I already have if you get me.

Thank you so much!! To be honest, this accommodation is the only experience I have but I wouldn’t recommend it anymore based on the price VS quality - it’s really gone down since my second year. But if you’re already planning on moving the best section you can book a room in would be block D as the kitchens are huge!

Hey! I actually didn’t pick any preferences because I booked so late - but I will say if there is the option for premium room 3 or anywhere that says Block D then you should get a similar room style to mine. I’m not sure if you can choose which floor you’re on online though - so our views may not be the same! (yours could be higher or lower)

Moving to London to go Uni from a very small City on my own, bit nervous, but also excited, what’s it like? I mean like when your parents leave and when it’s like just you for the first time, knowing this is it?
The moment my mum left was one of the hardest feelings ever - I could feel my mind deciding I didn’t really need to move to London and how I could stay at home forever… it’s so easy to panic and want to be in your comfort and safety. But because we’re human - we cry and we struggle to sleep and eventually do and then we wake up the next day and realise we have to make food, go out and buy food, unpack our boxes etc and we start doing little tasks until you suddenly realising you’re doing it - you’re living your life and you’re doing it on your own! Your parents are a call away so anything you’re concerned about, just because they’ve left your area, it doesn’t mean they’ve left your life! Contact them as frequently as you need, plan your next trip home if it helps to have a goal and to remind yourself you can see them again. London is full of so many opportunities and experiences and you’re so lucky to be experiencing the biggest city with a student loan and security of student accommodation. Plus, you’ll be surrounded by people going through the exact same thing! You’re never alone. I hope this helps in some way and I wish you the best experience because you’ll never get this chapter of your life again - so as much it’s hard, let it be exciting!

@@itsjxylxn most of the stuff that is on your walls. My halls hate wall stuff but it looks like a lot of the wall hanging stuff (like pegs for hanging things and the pinboard) came with your room :) My contract is super strict and really weirdly specific, especially about electronics that haven't been checked by an electrician first and putting things on the wall. I guess that's what I get for being on a campus in a really dodgy part of Chatham haha. There was genuinely a part of the contract where it made you sign to say that you wouldn't use a deep fat fryer in your room near non fireproof furnishings?? Like who was doing that?? You did such a good job making this room seriously pretty!! I'm moving in in 4 days and I'm desperately searching for roomspo to make my room feel more homely and this was so helpful!

The kitchen is shared! If you had the correct equipment I’m sure you could work around making some food in your room.

Yes! I fit my suitcase perfectly under my bed :) and there’s definitely room to fit more than one!

I really love the room and the kitchen it's just so beautiful, talk about the view of the window in your room i just live it all. I am looking for a uni to go study vet for in UK and Korea and i wanted to ask anyone who knows what uni is this so that i can Google the uni please 🥺🙏 but to be honest i really love this uni dorm tour , of all i have watched this is my top one and i never get tired of watching it 😂😂😂☺️☺️☺️ but pleas tell me the uni name

How much you pay for week , your uni name not accomodation if it is possible and you applied with IELTS only?
That room was £245 a week but my current room is £229 (a few floors below) for 40 weeks. My student loan only just covers the cost 💔 I applied for my university course (LMA) through UCAS.

thank you so much! I actually didn’t have a choice ☹️ our uni didn’t have an accommodation attached to it and they instead had a list of accommodations we could stay at close by and this was the closest!🤍

Thank you! I post once a week - sometimes twice a week so a lot of it will be Uni orientated with some other content in between. Start TH-cam at any time - I wish I started mine earlier!
Can you talk more about what you mean about not having lunch and only having snack days? So you don’t eat?
Oh no I definitely eat! But some days we don’t break for lunch at uni so I eat when I get back to the flat or before I leave.

I study at LMA university. And the rent is £245 a week - but it’s cheaper if you book a lower floor. Next year it’s £229 for me

@@user-jc8io9jl3l accommodation in the north of england is a lot cheaper, for first year it’s recommended to stay in halls to meet friends- I’m paying £130 for mine next year
@@katyharding6671 Oh well, thank you. I was afraid that no one would answer me. This means that the payment per person is 130 pounds per week, so it becomes approximately 600 pounds per month, right.

The accommodation is called Stratford One - it’s not connected to the university I go to! Also bare in mind that the room is quite dull until you add your own touch to it, but the view is gorgeous!
