I remember listening to Emarosa's old stuff and just thinking it was meh. I heard the chorus to this song for the first time and was blown away. I was not expecting to become a huge Emarosa fan but I definitely am now. Amazing album.
I knew within the first 30 seconds that this would be my favorite track. By the end, I was in tears. Beautiful song. Great work, boys. This is one hell of an album.
This almost made me tear up, but the song 'One step at a time' By Four Year Strong gets me every single time. I lost my father when I was 9, and the song is about one of the band members that lost his brother to cancer. I didn't know that when I had first listened, but ever since then it's always a super emotional song for me. Luckily I've got to see it live a couple of times.
@@YummyKitKat love her till the very end every hug every kiss every i love you is important my man I wish i hugged my mom one last time before she passed on me its hard trust me
who the fuck would dislike this song?? They need to read the lyrics and re-listen to this song!! It has some deep meaning and hits home for me right now!! Such a great song!!
I usually listen to death metal, djent, or anything in the heavier category. Yesterday, I decided to mix it up and listen to a new sound and well this band really caught my interest. Very beautiful song by Emarosa.
Only 70k views? This upsets me. Music that is written from the heart and means something gets zero attention nowadays. Most of the artists that are "praised" lack emotion in their writing. This is real music.
Didn't become a fan until Peach Club was released, but after that I tried to explore their earlier albums. This song and Porcelain really sold them for me. As someone else put it, I can truly feel the heart that went into this song and album
This fucking band is amazing. every song on the ep in 2007 that sounds NOTHING like this. Relativity was random after that ep. But still awesome. Emarosa self-titled was too good. Versus album and ep super good too. This album is actually my favorite yet. The band has grown massive amounts. This song actually reminds me of a couple trapt songs at parts. But the chorus is certainly Emarosa and it is amazing. Glad i've stuck with this band and had hope in this band for so long. They are really evolving.
Love the simple, yet tasteful lead guitar parts. I think the lead in the chorus is a plucking the Open G and alternating between 7, 10, and 12 fret? The backing chorus guitar is Drop D'd, halfstep down(power chords, open D, E, F#m) or Drop D standard tuning, (Eb, F, Gm)
"Cuz I don't feel light- and she don't feel right We shouldn't be- shouldn't be- shouldn't be here- we are, and I've already changed my face to show that I'm okay. And now I'm stuck, sad, and saying we can try it again. You've got your head in your hands; I am giving in. D'you wanna talk about- maybe that's the reason I've been feeling out loud?" I know this song isn't about a break-up, but damn.
I've cried my eyes out to this song so many times. Hits so hard....
Most solid track from the album. That chorus' melody is one of the best ever from the band IMO.

Daniel Moberly i think it's because Bradley just sings with so more emotion than Jonny.
this song is beautiful. best emarosa song ever wrote.

The whole album made me tear up.
NBC just played this song during the Panthers and Broncos game broadcast. Awesome!
After just losing my father to a heart attack in November I can't listen to this song without thinking of him. this is a beautiful piece of music.
even though the lyrics are pointed towards a different sense of loss, its still strong.
this song is so beautiful. it always helps me go through tough times. thank you, Emarosa.

The highs in the chorus remind me of Stephen Christian from Anberlin

I've heard this song many times but I never actually heard it, you know? I finally looked up the lyrics.
And now I'm bawling my eyes out. Excellent.

Really nice track. Good background for this gloomy rainy weather...

wow, this song...I can't even imagine how hard it should've been for bradley to write this song
I'm new to this band, is there a backstory to this song?
+Joyce Lee I heard him say in a video that he lost a child probably didn't have the chance to be born so i'm pretty sure this song is about that
Oh thank you!
+Ignacio Marcó Not just this song but I think others in the album too.

This song is a masterpiece
Some music speaks to your soul
This song reminds me a lot of 30 Seconds to Mars, specially A Beautiful Lie-era, more specifically the song "From Yesterday".
Anyone else see it?
River Stumpf Ah! That's a good comparison.

Why does this song's melody sound identical to that of Love Song by Chelsea Grin?
i doubt there is a real reason for it....musical chance, and it happens all the time.
This reminds me a lot of 30 Seconds to Mars
Saosin?
