I added a light to the shower it has metal on the shower so I got an undercounter light sensor.. now when people use the restroom it automatically comes on.. It's also rechargeable .. Awesome Ideas ❤

I've been watching your channel for a few years now and find your suggestions very cost effective. Just today I ordered a rolling cart to put next to my vanity so that it frees up some space while applying makeup. My daughter bought me some floating shelves for my bedroom and that has added some needed space. Thank you for all your ideas and videos!

I have a great cord cover hack. Use an art canvas painted the same color as the wall. I did this under the TV. Hard to explain. Let me know if you want to see it, totally renter friendly and I get compliments with each visitor to my guest bedroom. Love your ideals. As a landlord thanks for encouraging tenants to speak with their landlords. We do care about our property.

I totally agree with the air quality! I would add to shop for purifiers that say “true hepa” or H13 because these filter out the smallest particles (like smoke from forest fires)! Also ones with a pre-filter are amazing cause larger particles of dust and dog hair (I have a husky) get caught on that which I can vacuum monthly & not in an expensive filter! I also have a ductless heat pump & when you first move in you don’t think about maintenance, but those have filters that need to be cleaned (vacuumed or sprayed off) 2-4 times a year. Sometimes in rentals, THESE HAVE NOT BEEN CLEANED!
Managed 🔌 does make a major difference!
OMGoodness! It's never occurred to me to store my shoes on a shelf over my bedroom doorway.
I love floating shelves and used to have them when i lived in Texas. Now I'm in earthquake country and made that mistake when I first moved here. Never again. However, other than scuff marks which can easily be removed shoes won't be damaged if tossed around.

Wire management is a struggle. I just got a new sit/stand desk. The laptop, monitors, headset and docking station wires are a nightmare. Unlike my old desk, it’s a flat surface, no drawers or anything. I’m going to look into the cover. I currently just have all the wires zip tied together but it just doesn’t look neat.

As a long time renter I’ve used command strips for a few years and they’ve ripped the paint off the wall in high moisture areas. So I prefer screws. I wish the carts were taller too and this stacking is an amazing idea. Let me buy before they steal your idea and charge way more for it smh lol.

The more techno stuff we purchase, the more wires we need to worry about how to hide them. I'm constantly arranging and rearranging ways to find the best solution. My security system now has cable/wires in a basket...works for now but not great.

Help! I am currently in the process of moving to Jacksonville Florida. Will be there next month July ,anyway as you know, a lot of the apartment walls are textured. I’m going to ask about painting them white because they are some god-awful yellow right now. Don’t know why. But what do I do if I want to use peel and stick? Please help and so glad I found your channel will keep you updated.

My apartment walls do not support floating shelves. The paint comes off easily with anything peel and stick.

The most that I can do is like your videos. My really old landlord went and painted my hallway that 1940's blue/coral green color to match the bathroom after we signed the lease! Every time I see the wall I literally want to vomit! He specifically put in the lease no paper, painting or otherwise redecorating, additions, alterations, or improvements to his home. It WAS a perfect house! He yelled at me like it was my fault when I asked was he going to change it back and he said no. So now I am trying to find a way to renter friendly Fix his F-up because at the end of the day I have to live there and he is getting my money... Ugh

From Australia, I am renting the most unloved, filthy house ever, owned by a lawyer as part of her portfolio of properties as she specialises in property management. I laughed when I heard this. I have already cried enough in this horrific homelessness crisis. I dont feel at all secure, and only want to pay a little to hide the worst filth. Like the urine encrusted over years on the toilet walls. I think peel and stick wallpaper will cover that, as all the scrubbing (and gagging) in the world is not going to remove this nightmare.
Sorry to hear this. I use vinegar and water on urine stains from my dog, maybe it would help in your bathroom. Just a thought. I wonder if you could take legal action 🧐
