Watching 10 years (to the day) after this magnificent performance! Thanks to M. Roth - and the Pierre-Francois - for posting it! I had the pleasure of hearing Daniel Roth play Mass in May 2022 - a truly unforgettable experience!
Brilliant. Surprisingly anthemic piece. Thanks for posting, I love to watch the interactions between the organist and registrants. You can see they all love what they do.
Davvero notevole! Spero di trovarlo su cd, .....credo che dovrebbe essere incluso in ogni integrale per organo di Franck accanto ai tradizionali 6 pezzi, 3 pezzi e 3 corali. Daniel Roth è sempre garanzia di qualità!
Can anyone tell me where one finds a score for this piece? I couldn't find it among the individual pieces in L'Organiste. Granted, it doesn't begin to compare to the major works, but it certainly is entertaining, and I suspect many audiences would enjoy hearing it. Of course, when played on the incomparable Saint-Sulpice Cavaille-Coll, it sounds like a million bucks (or francs)!

I just loved this. It was a joy to watch Daniel's face. He was having such fun.

This is pure joy
Cet orgue rend vraiment hommage aux pièces de Franck... Et son organiste aussi bien sûr :D
Without words.... Astonished

When it comes to the organ, there's the French, and then there's everybody else.
