I found out Werewilba couldn’t nab stuff off of shelves, or activate the fountain of youth. Getting 50 tubers and exploring most of the islands by day 5 is pretty neat though.
Obviously the thing that makes the silver necklace drain sanity from you after it is supposed to do so is a bug. Early access and all that. I also think the transformation should use 4 monster meats like normal pigs, because using 2 and transforming into a speedy hard hitting god is pretty cheap. Remember, this is not DST, mobs and bosses are not tanky in solo DS.
Even in DST this form is "cheap" though... I am guessing they are using wereWilba as the testing grounds for werebeaver, just to see how useful it can be. It is even interesting she has an item that prevents her from transforming, when I suggested Woodie have something similar too.

In fact Woodie is one of my favorite characters in DS, but they nerfed him into oblivion in DST to the point that he doesn't even fit in any role, Maxwell can get twice as much wood without moving a finger. And do some combo with Wickerbottom and read her books. I am praying to Jesus so Klei makes him the cool character he is again with the revamp! Don't get me wrong, i don't want them to nerf Werewilba at all. Solo DS is, well, a solo game, so it is better to have fun. But 2 monster is way too cheap (not that 4 is expensive lmao).
I’ve managed to speed run pugalisk on day 3 as werewilba without science, it took me 2 blue caps, 8 Aloe, 9 radishes, 8 asparagus and 103 petals. I was aiming for a day 2 kill but had some complications. I feel like it is 100% possible to beat pugalisk on day 2 given how OP werewilba is currently.

You can do the same with Wolfgang if you just keep eating stuff you find on the ground, I don't think Wilba is good as Wolfgang yet, her debuffs are big
@@Zarihuella originally yes but they realized that alot of the characters abilities didnt transfer very well to what is supposed to be a team oriented game, with only a couple of characters being useful team wise and alot of characters not providing much other than an extra pair of hands. They're changing the characters so everyone can provide a unique service to the team. I dont think those reworks would work well in the single player version. best examole I can give is willow. She perfectly fine in don't starve but in dst she is trash.

If you talking about wilba and wormwood, those are only single player so far, the 4 are for together, they should release around the same time the character reworks start, unless someone with more knowledge can correct me

the rate at which wilba loses sanity while wearing the silver necklace is 6.66 sanity a minute according to the wiki also each monster meat increases the duration by half a day not a day, again according to the wiki I'm guessing there isn't a way to change back before the duration runs out so currently my wilba is stuck as a werepig for 3 days, am I just a dead pig walking right now?
I am afraid that they are gonna nerf her. I am not sure if Wilba being able to pick and craft stuff is a bug or not, but overall she seems pretty strong in that form since food is never a problem once you settle down.

She doesn't turn into a werepig, she turns into a pigwolf. A werepig would be part human part pig, but she's not a human. None of the pigs in any of the don't starves game turn into werepigs, they all turn into pigwolfs.
@@kliveran But has virtually less health than werebeaver, because of no armor. Which, honestly, makes me like her the most. I like the "you hit like a truck, but you get hit like a truck too" kinda thing. High risk, high reward. But you can heal yourself midfight with dragonpies, for example. She is a god now lol!
You have speed bonus for better dodging, passive health regeneration and can heal with food/items. As much as I love Woodie, werebeaver transformation is now much, much weaker than Wilba's werepig
@@misael22 with out armor fighting womant nearly impossible because when you try to kill the Warrior eggs you got stunlock buy falling minerals and the Warrior spawn in with full health and complete you off like. 5 sec and you die :p. Unless you can manage to dodge the stone shadows and kill the Warrior egg at the same time which needs a lot of foucs.
wilba has one downside and characters like wes is weaker, has worse stats, and no upsides, wilba has werewilba form now which is op. She can get early resources from farms without paying attention to guards and has a high max hunger. Woodworm is more like wes than wilba who is probably up with webber, Maxwell, and wigfrid in the almost best tier.
