leave at 5am, get home at 7pm, shower, go party, then bed at 3am. yeah, that doesn't work out well for very long ;) nor does 16-17hour days and partying, sleep? what's that. yeah no, just no.
Those were around way back in my day (1960’s). 5x5 are smaller ones. I saw a lot of 10x10 machines driven by synchronous motors. The oldest I ever saw were made by Carbondale, 1896. Ran 24/7 for over 50 years without rebuilding.
Keep up the cool content, man 🤙 I just listened to your cameo on HVAC Shop Talk. I wish there was more stuff out there about ammonia. I love working on it... I’ve taken some video myself, but I’m not sure I can post it given the liability and confidentiality and such... I’m curious how you decided to post videos. Does your company give you specific rules on posting videos?
Thanks. I appreciate the kind words. I try not to mention customer info when I do film and respect my company. They don’t mind. I think they appreciate me sharing content. I just had a long weekend at that plant. They lost power and everything froze. 5 compressor cooling jacket heads cracked.
@@UlisesPalacios; Damn, bro! Did you record that?!? Haha... Man... I’m assuming the water loop froze up due to ambient temp? And it cracked the heads of the compressors?!? Yikes... That sounds ugly. I don’t know of any accounts we service down here in SoCal that would succumb to that sort of issue.
@@watsonwolfe we almost installed a Phillips ANHYDRATOR on this system. Yeah they probably should install a Hansen auto purger plus since they have a chiller on this system and no current purger.
The spring being broke would allow the valve to be open at a lower pressure, center cone only works we coil is energized on a parker, broken spring or not. Be safe out there.
That Ammonia looks way different than what I work on. Nice video👍
Great video, thanks for sharing Ulises. Cheers from Europe 👍
Thank you
Wow Ulises Great video !!!!
Thank you
Thank you
I remember old meat packing plants here in Jersey with CFCs tight spot glad two guys for safety!
Thanks for sharing 👍👍. Luckily we don't do much ammonia, that looks like a death trap 😏
Thanks. Yeah. It should have bee. Upgraded 20-30 years ago.

You know it a good day when your out the house with street light still on. Earlier you start the more OT you can get 😊

WELCOME BACK .......
THAT PLANT LOOKS LIKE IT COULD USE HELP, LOTS OF OPPORTUNITIES FOR IMPROVEMENT
wow! crazy system
Great video🤩🤩
Thanks
Hey even with that spring broken off at the end it could have still opened at least partially right? Now I see what you meant about the water.
Yeah. In defrost it would had trouble regulating at the right pressure.
19:47 for a summary
Need to get you the bigger 1/2 impact for those bolts
What’s up Joe. Hope all is well. For the ones on the valve flanges? . I couldn’t get a socket on those .
Ulises Palacios yea all is great and looks like you are doing great 👍. Yea I thought you could get a socket on them. Maybe a set of crows feet?
@@joeshearer1247 that’s good to hear. Yeah I definitely needs a set of crows feet. They would come in handy. Congrats on the baby.
Hey man can i ask for some manuals or data on this unuts you worked on.
Flooded allright, with water!😁 lmaof. Thanks for uploading great video👍
Thanks. Lol yeah. We took the entire charge out
Ulises. Are you acquainted with the Frick 5x5 compressors? I’m trying to bring one back from the dead...
Im a little familiar. That’s awesome. What year is it. Definitely share some photos or videos

Why didn't the H2O mix with the NH3?????
Well it does. Your left with ammonia water essentially. Have you seen an ammonia purity test? I’m guessing the same thing happens.
@@UlisesPalacios, yes I have seen NH3 purity test. Would a Aouto Purger Plus "APP" Hansen air & H2O purger be a good choice to install in the system?

Yes. Definitely a few issues. Thank you.
