Best technical commentary I have ever heard on a straight pool match. And I've watched almost all of them that are available. Thankyou! Most I've learned from 14.1 commentary since Dick Lane's player review a gazillion years ago.
Amazing commentary, just amazing. We need technical commentary like this for every match, seriously. Bravo! That being said, great shot to watch. Reminds us that they're human too haha
Yes. It's minus 2 points but not part of the three consecutive fouls rule. The opponent has the option of shooting or having the balls reracked to be broken again.
On the break shot under the rack if your cue ball is stricking the center ball on the rack after contact with the object ball then you drive with inside English three rails other wise us outside English on the object ball. Hope this helps.
Still remember the time Rodney Morris walked into the pool room in playing in and me not knowing who he was.... My friend say "Hey you should play him strait pool". After watching him warm up, I offer a race in 14.1 to 200 for $500. Fuck if I didn't run my high run of 182......then Rodney runs the side on me. Lmao good times
At 11:07, it was an obvious foul, and if the ref said nothing, and Rodney called it on himself as the commentator suggests, I'll just say, good on you Rodney!
Perhaps one of the most difficult game ever devised by man. If anyone thinks this is easy try to run 100. Start early in life because for most of us if by some miracle you accomplish that it may take years.
shout out to IPm for putting up this event this fast. Now that that's out the way this was a horrible match, these guys looked like they were hanging out knocking around balls to kill time. On the flip side I still watched the match because it looked like amateurs playing and it was nice to see a none (slightly) true pro type of match, it gives you a chance to see some of the "what not to do" things
I needed to turn off the commentator sounded like a “Bingo Game” 6’8”4 no 4 7 9 everyone plays different the end result Did they get on the break shot. End of story.

I must have missed them saying it, but isn't a legal opening break two balls and the cueball must hit a rail or its minus two points?

Where can one can learn about Straight pool?

Every time the commentators say the shooter is going to do something, the shooter does something else.
+David Poole lots of options in this game . It is extremely difficult to guess what they are playing next considering there level of play is so high .
Yup. Lots of options. Even player reviewing themselves call things differently from what they shoot.
That doesn't look like high level to me...lol
why no time limit???it's boring to see

Amazing player he is for sure. Great human being as well. - Alvin -
What do you mean by 'the side'?

It's one thing to call a foul on yourself. It's another to overrule a ref and call it on yourself. classy.
