Tom, there is so much passion and emotion gone into this performance, Carmen is completely drained at the end of it. It is a very difficult song for a soprano to sing but the training as a lyric soprano has helped her to give this magnificent reading of it. Can't see any other opera singer even attempting this, nor even Beyoncé or Carey as pop singers managing to do well with it either. First time I heard it I didn't believe how powerfully emotional the performance was.
