I’m sorry but…Will Smith looks like Will Smith not Muhammad Ali
So true. I stopped the video to say the very same thing, but you had already beat me to the punch.
Same😂
Me too.
Yes absolutely correct💯
He's actually the one who looked LEAST like the character.
Will Smith still looks like the guy that slapped Chris Rock 😂😂
😂true that
😂😂😂🤪
Fr😂
😂😂
Looks like a gutless wanker
Will Smith looks nothing like Ali.
Как это не похож, если у одного и у другого был одинаковый цвет кожи! Конечно этого достаточно. Если даже Белоснежка имела такой же чёрный цвет кожи, как и Снежинка.
Will Smith is not as handsome as Ali..Ali was truly gorgeous...in my opinion
😂😂 LOL 🤣 agree 💯 👍 but it was a great movie though
Wil Smith Can't Float Like a Butterfly , Sting Like a Bee .
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣@@carolinemarley8426
@MichaelSSmith-hs5pw 😂 so true
The best I ever saw was Jamie as Ray Charles. Watching the movie I almost forgot it wasn't him.
Agreed.
@@kathleenschuman6131 yes very very good
I agree, and Jennifer Lopez did a fantastic job as well. You almost think it's her.
@kathleenschuman6131 still doesn't look like him though. But I like Jaimee Foxx so he gets a pass.
Looked more like Ray Charles than Ray Charles did!!! lol ~
Some of these yes, some no.
Will Smith will never look like anyone else
Just like Jim Carrey, who looks like Jim Carrey everywhere.
Some, yes...many, no.
He never acts any different either, he's always himself 😅
No one could ever look like Elvis, no way no how!!!
Miles Teller does
Well said,dude.
@@joannerazey3702 🤣
Nor should anyone ever even have dignified that overrated copycat and phony by ever even having tried.
Even PRESLEY HIMSELF never looked like Presley!!!
There is one person who did Elvis well and that was Kurt Russell.
Well done actors but far more credit to the make up, hair and costume departments.
Exactly
Where is Nichols kidman- Virginia Woolf - The Hours ?
With a lot of them, almost any actor could play the part with the right makeup, hairstyle, and costume.
@@Maki-00for looking yes, but acting?
Yes
Ben Kingsley AS Gandhi?????
Ben Kingsley as Salvador Dali.
But he also was a dead ringer for Ghandi @@christophedevos3760
He did play Gandhi in the 1982 film of the same name
@@zahemi914 That's why he wrote it.
Gandi was a British servent salt lover
Ben Kingsley plays worst potrait of m k gandi 😂
They didn't even research about gandis history
How could you miss Charlene Thereon's depiction of Eileen Wuornos. The resemblance was so good it was scary😮
💯
Charlize Theron, Aileen.
Thank you. When one of the most beautiful women in the world does that transformation, it is mind blowing.
part 2 video
Yes, but there was a lot of prostethics involved! The people shown here wore just make-up and very little prostethics, If any!
The acting was good, though!
Jamie Foxx's Ray Charles was.........my goodness. It was like watching the man himself. Jamie captured Charles's mannerisms and everything. It also didn't hurt he already knew how to play the piano.
Eddie Redmayne was brilliant as Stephen Hawking
I was about to say the same thing
Es el mejor caracterizado idéntico
Yes…
He still didn't deserve the Oscar over Michael Keaton, though.
@@rustincohle2135fun fact both where born in the number 2 Stephen was born in 1942 and Eddie was born in 1982
What about Faye Dunaway as Joan Crawford in “Mommie Dearest”, Taron Egerton as Elton John in “Rocketman”, Charlize Theron as Aileen Wuornos in “Monster”, and Philip Seymour Hoffman as Truman Capote in “Capote”.
yes
All except for Taron Egerton.
Toby Jones as Truman Capote also.
Some of tha actors looked more authentic than the people they portrayed. They captured their spirit and brought them back to life again.❤
GOOD POINT
Madonna looks nothing like Eva Peron
Totally agree
She looks like the white bread version of Peron
She looks nothing like Madonna anymore.
I've never been a fan but she did do a good job with the role. It was the first time I thought that she could actually sing well.
Austin Butler does not look like Elvis.
@@debbiemcnamara7059 Absolutely not in way, no chance
True
No and I liked Austin Butler until he played Elvis He chugged that Kool aid and I haven't liked him since
Couldn’t agree more I think that was the most obvious one.
@@beckycaughel7557 Elvis handsome face no one gets
Daniel day Lewis look like Lincoln more than Lincoln himself😮😮😂😂
Hair and makeup are the STARS of these "perfectly" images.
You're truly forgot about how Brilliant Val Kilmer was when he plays the role of Jim Morrison!
His acting so unbelievable.... 🎉
When I saw Kutcher picture I thought it was Steve Jobs, perfect match, they look like identical twins.
Erm no not at all
I think Kutcher is the better looking Jobs 😅.
Kutcher looked just like Ashton Kutcher.
No one could ever look like Marilyn
Hollywood may as well give up on that.
Amen
True
Young Madonna.
Но она справилась
Tina Fey looks like Sarah Palin
And sound like her.
Sarah 'Foxy🦊' Palin.
Charlize Theron as Aileen Wuornos
Philip Seymour Hoffman as Capote
Allison Janney as LaVona Golden
Val Kilmer as Jim Morrison
Theron…yes! And although Hoffman’s performance was so outstanding that you believed he was Capote, they didn’t really nail the look. At that age, Capote was much more handsome/cute/slim than Hoffman was.
Josh Lucas as Leo Beebe (Le Mans 66/Ford vs Ferrari - 2019)
Pastor Maldonado as Tazio Nuvolari (Ferrari - 2003)
Part 2
Sam Riley as Ian Curtis
Where is Val Kilmer as Jim Morrison?
Part 2
@@jeremiahhardin4453and where is Sam Riley as Ian Curtis?
Denzel as Malcom X was impressive.
Gary Busey as Buddy Holley, Kirk Russell as Elvis, Randy Quiad as LBJ, Val Kilmer as Jim Morrison, Robert Carlyle as John Lennon, George C. Scott as Patton, Ben Kingsley as Gandhi
Sorry Marilyn is a big no for me.
No one can ever look like Marilyn !!!
Yep...Marilyn was too dang beautiful and sexy to duplicate..
Yes ...there's a lot of 'blondes' that could do her.
Ana de Amas in Blonde looked more like Marilyn
@@RFED2O of course they can.... there's a million blondes that could and have in contests.
Will Smith just looks like himself haha. Rami Malek was genius as Freddie Mercury
Still a no for Rami
Some were really good but others were ridiculous
True
You really should have added Angela Bassett as Tina Turner and what's Love got to do with it.
Just coming here to say that. And Laurence Fishburn as Ike
I was an extra in that movie. 😅
Такая любовь - это всегда деньги.
Part 2
Angela was much more toned than Tina. She is a great actress but the resemblance wasn't there.
That guy don't look like Elvis!
Not even close.
Who does !!!!
@@RFED2O How bout Kurt Russel or Dale Midkiff?. lol Actually you know what, Andy Kaufman..Even Elvis himself said that Kaufman came closest to being him...But I think Elvis was talking about the voice and the mannerism lol
I agree!
@@pallen49I thought Midkiff did a good job, don't know what he looks like now.
You missed an obvious one Joaquin phoenix as Johnny cash
Part 2
Walk the line - Joaquin did a brilliant job , even down to the way Johnny would roll his shoulder playing the guitar magnificent work
Joaquin is more handsome than Johny's cash
@@jillcarter9104 He performed amazingly, but he still didn't really look like Johnny Cash.
They didn't all "perfectly resemble" the originals.
In fact, out of all these, I agreed with only 5
RDJ, Jamie Foxx, and Ashton Kutcher channeled their people.
Kilmer/Morrison?
Yep, how could they miss that one?
Gracias Tina, nice to know I’m not crazy after my Long COVID !
The best one ever
Apparently it's in part 2
Kilmer looked somewhat like Morrison, but the acting was fantastic, he really pulled that character off with acting & mannerisms.
Jamie Foxx was amazing. I was VERY IMPRESSED with his portrayal of Ray Charles
Do you know why Ray was always smiling? He didn't know he was black!
@@tomryan914 is that a joke?! That's not funny
Will Smith looks more like someone who was beaten by Muhammad Ali in a boxing match.
🤭
I don't think Austin Butler looked like Elvis at all 😒
Looks like John Travolta
Yes, he did.
Not at all
Austin and Elvis are cousins through Austin's mother and Elvis's father.
@@MaggieLogue yeah, I'm cousins with John Lennon 🙄
Elvis is a big no for me.
@@sunnyscott4876 But only in this context !!!!!!
Really?
These photos are also a testament to the skill of hair and makeup professionals. Latex prosthetics, under padding, and time-appropriate undergarments along with period perfect costumes contribute to a stellar actor's portrayal of a historical figure. It takes a whole team and a lot of iterations to get it just right.
James Franco looks like James Franco.
Yeah, the nose and the eyebrows are wrong.
Gary Oldman as Lee Harvey Oswald
Denzel channeled Malcolm. He was incredible!
Totally agree ... One of his best performances in my opinion
@@giggiwidit5638 Absolutely! He should’ve won an Oscar for this role!
@@nancyherzog8780 Definitely !!!
Rami Malik was nothing like Freddy Mercury - he had blue eyes and that would have been so easy to change!!
@@louiseclark8519 Rami may of moved like Freddie abit but looked nothing like him
I know it bothered me so much it ruined the movie for me
@RFED2O so true. He did a very good job with the moves but looked nothing like Mercury.
Bruno Ganz also nailed Hitler's mannerisms and that is very important. In the movie Cromwell Sir Alec Guinness not only had the look of King Charles I but also had his stammer enacted perfect i am willing to be that Alec being a perfectionist as an actor did his historical research
I think it just shows what good make up, hairstyles and clothes can do.
Yes, but despite of all these, “Monroe” does not look like real Monroe. This means that there was something else, may be a talent?
@@rayboish six of them not even close
You have to start off with some physical resemblance. And you also need good acting. You can’t really see that in the still photos.
Philip Seymour Hoffman as Truman Capote.
Part 2
You dropped the ball on Will Smith looking like Mohamed Ali. He just looks like someone who's going to use his ray pen and remove your memories.
And Anthony Hopkins doesn't perfectly resemble/represent Alfred Hitchcock either.
But Anthony Hopkins still was a way better fit than Will Smith, not to mention the so-called Elvis.
@@DoloresLehmann I agree with you.
The Dali pics were the wrong way round. 4:26
So Dali worked hard to look like Adrien Brody.
@@klio9611 😄
Jamie Foxx as Ray Charles- yes, indeed!
I thought Julianne moore as sarah palin was spot on.
That movie was excellent
Ben Knigsley as Gandhi
Kate Blanchett as Bob Dylan 👍😂
All of the people in this movie looked like Bob Dylan
That blew me away!
Ali and marilyn and Hitchcock were poorly represented
Exactly how I feel!
There's a million blondes that can resemble M.M.
I'd like to add Liberace, James Dean, Elvis
How can you ever get anyone to look like Hitchcock is beyond me. As for Marilyn, nobody has her aura.
@@eggie011 well they say everyone has a doppelganger but they would have to look well beyond the world of acting to find theirs.
Marion Cotillard/Edith Piaf
Beaucoup de prothèses et de maquillage
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 Please add to your list; BEN KINGSLEY, he played GANDHI In 1982 movie. 🏆 In my opinion That was the Best Performance of All.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Michael Douglas is a 10 as Liberace in my opinion.🤗
Adrien Brody as Dali - wow! Could be the same person 😳
Only, the picture of the real Dali was on the left.
You forgot Val Kilmer in "The Doors", Joaquin Phoenix in "Walk on the line", Jeffrey Wright in "Basquiat", and many more.
best is jamie foxx, and geoffrey rush
Will Smith, Morgan Freeman, are not accurate. Bruno Ganz, Selma Hayek, Eric Elmossino, J. Fox Denzel W. , rock!
To be honest, neither Bruno Ganz nor Selma Hayek truly looked like the originals, but both made up for that brilliantly by their performance, who absolutely captured the essence of the portrayed people.
Most were pretty darn good, but some weren't so good. I love it when the actor looks like the person they are portraying.
Val Kilmer vs Jim Morrison!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You forgot Charlize Theron as Aileen Wuornos.
She looked so real it was scary.
Also, Leonardo DiCaprio playing Howard Hughes in The Aviator (2004). Looks just like him, especially during the courtroom scenes at the end.
No, he looked like Leo DiCaprio.
You definitely should not left out Val Kilmer as Jim Morrison
You can watch part 2 of this on my channel. I covered val Kilmer and many other famous actors. ❤️
Sissy Spacek copied Loretta Lynn's voice so precisely it's hard to tell the difference between them.I fail to see much resemblance in Madonna and Eva Peron.
They don't look like she's look isian
Sissy did an amazing job portraying Loretta Lynn but I don’t think she looks like her that much. I definitely felt that the first time I saw the movie..
@@beckycaughel7557 she doesn't look like her
@@beckycaughel7557 I knew this jerk who ranted against Sissy Spacek because she wasn't a beauty queen and was all upset over her casting.I told him to watch it and see how similar Sissy's voice was He told her didn't care about it,he didn't like that genre.I asked why he got so upset about it when he wasn't interested in the movie at all.
@@David-yw2lv wow , yes, she did amazing job and her voice sounds so much like Loretta Lynn I wasn’t at all criticizing her performance or her luxe for that matter I just didn’t think that she looked that much like Loretta Lynn. Because of her voice alone, she was definitely the right choice for the movie.
Gary Oldman as Sid in Sid and Nancy.
!!!!❤❤❤
The guy who played Churchill is the same guy that played Sid. So hard to believe and it's kinda funny
Freddy Mercury 😂😂😂😂
Elvis😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
How about Faye Dunaway act in MOMMY DEAREST as Joan Crawford
Yes saw the documentary the other day, very very good lookalike
Ben Kingsley as Gandhi was also perfect.
Resemble, yes, but in many cases definitely not "perfectly"....
Wait a minute. Cate Blanchett as Dylan? What the...
She was very convincing
What.about Charleeze Theron as Eileen Wuornos ?
tom hiddleston as Hank Williams in I Saw The Light.
Morgan Freeman looks more like Robert Mugabe than Mandela.
Geoffrey Rush as Peter Sellers....
James Cromwell as HRH Prince Philip......
Steven Seagal as an arsehole......
Lol 😂
😂 Mr. Seagal played that role perfectly.
@bobblueford Yes typecasting at it's best. 👍😅
Stephen should of won an Oscar because he nailed that part
J.Lo was spectacular as Selena, she really worked to act and dance like her to the point that you would think, you were watching the real Selena performing. If you haven’t seen the movie ‘Selena’ I recommend it!
Actor who played Freddie Mercury was stunning, even actor who played Steven Hawking. So cool
Jon Voight as Saint Pope John Paul II, Val Kilmer as Jim Morrison, Meg Ryan as Pam Courson(Morrison's girl friend), the guy who played Ray Manzurik(from The Doors), Taron Edgerton as Elton John, I could go on and on!
Kyle MacLachlan played Ray Manzarek
Michael Sheen as Tony Blair was close.
He did a good Brian Clough as well.
Don't forget Louis Gossett Jr. as Anwar Sadat. Movie 1983.
Makeup and prosthetics help, too.
rami malek doesn’t look Freddy. it’s too far
I agree...it was an insult to Freddie. The only thing good about that ridiculous movie was the music.
Rami Malek should have worn dark contact lenses. Also, you forgot Ben Hardy as Roger Taylor in Bohemian Rhapsody.
Steve Coogan and John C. Reilly as Stan and Ollie...with Reilly spot friggin on as Babe.
Jonathan Pryce as Pope Francis and Anthony Hopkins as Pope Benedict. I think Pryce and Francis are one and the same 😩.
Pryce should have won the Oscar over Joaquin Phoenix!
Never saw DelToro in Che … I'm speechless.
You forgot the best of best: Bradley Cooper as Leonard Bernstein … in the first 5 minutes I thought it was stock footage and that was the real Bernstein
Oldman is unmatched in changing looks!
Steve Railsback as Charles Manson, Andrew Robinson as LIberace. They were both amazing.
You mean Garak?
Adrien Brody looks just like Adrien Brody. It's uncanny.
Daniel Bruhl as Niki Lauda was perfect…
There was also Gary Busey as Buddy Holly in “The Buddy Holly Story”, Joaquin Phoenix & Reese Witherspoon as Johnny Cash & June Carter Cash in “Walk The Line”, Jessica Lange as Patsy Cline in “Sweet Dreams” and Frances Farmer in “Frances”, Beverly D’Angelo as Patsy Cline in “Coal Miner’s Daughter”, Ingrid Bergman as Golda Meir in “A Woman Called Golda”, Ann Jillian as Mae West in “Mae West”, Faye Dunaway as Eva Peron and James Farentino as Juan Peron in “Evita Peron”, Cate Blanchett as Katharine Hepburn and Kate Beckinsale as Ava Gardner in “The Aviator,” and Esther Goris as Eva Peron in “Evita Peron: The True Story”.
And there’s Tammy Blanchard and Judy Davis as Judy Garland in “Judy Garland: Me And My Shadows”, and Renée Zellweger as Judy Garland in “Judy”.
In 1965, two films about Jean Harlow were released, both titled “Harlow.” The first film was released by Magna Corporation in May 1965, and starred Carol Lynley. The second film was released in June 1965 by Paramount Pictures, and starred Carroll Baker.
In 1975, Roberta Collins played Harlow in the rhythm-and-blues band Bloodstone's pop musical movie “Train Ride to Hollywood.”
In 1978, Lindsay Bloom portrayed her in “Hughes and Harlow: Angels in Hell.”
In 2004, Gwen Stefani briefly appeared as Harlow at the red carpet premiere for Hell's Angels in Martin Scorsese's Howard Hughes biopic “The Aviator.”
And don’t forget Martin Landau as Bela Lugosi in “Ed Wood”.
you missed Marion Cotillard as Edith Piaf in the movie "la vie en rose" in 2007.
Yes......she was amazing in that film, especially near the end she looked hauntingly like Piaf.
Might have helped if both comparison photos were set at the same time in the subjects life not 20 years later like Helen Mirren and HM Queen Elizabeth 11.
Some definitely depict the character very well others not so much.Id say maybe 10 of these were a match. How do we not have Val Kilmer as Jim Morrison or Charlize Theron as Eileen waurlos
