So thankful for this I can recall in lowesmoor in the middle between the bridge Inn and the westmidlands now an small island it used to be an down stairs toilet .
The railroad crossing by the Great Western Hotel was where we used to put pennies on the tracks to see the locomotives crush them. (can you imagine kids being allowed that close to a locomotive now?) There was only a guy with a flag to hold up traffic and he never bothered us. My Grandmother was married in the church behind, I have forgotten the name.

I believe the train was called the Vinegar express.
