Hi everyone,
As you’ve chosen introspective songs on my poll on Instagram, I have decided to start this series with a song which I have rarely played since writing it, as I have always considered it to be more of a letter to myself.
This song is about wishing to appear and be colder than we actually are, to avoid being perceived as weak and being let down by people.
It’s about rejecting that inner child who could dream their lives away, knowing that it will be impossible to do so, as it’s all one has ever known.
