Thanks for these series. They’re truly a gem. Clear and concise breakdowns with amazing editing and even some bonus tips to improve your play with the decks.
Can someone explain the "surgical extraction vs. surgical extraction" play at 7:05? I can't get my head around how this would work. What do you target with your own surgical extraction? Be gentle with me - returning old player here. When I left magic in the old days they were just figuring out Necropotence was actually not a dud card (even the magazines at the time rated it as a one-star card). Thanks!
If you're opponent tries to Surgical Extraction a card in your graveyard, you can use anything that gets rid of that card to fizzle their Surgical. For example, cast your own Surgical in response, exiling the card they targeted. When _their_ Surgical tries to resolve, it doesn't have a target and fizzles, meaning the remaining copies in your deck are safe.
Cannot say enough about how much I love this channel

This channel is genuinely incredible. I'm sharing it with all my friends who want to get into legacy.
Good guide. Been slowly building Green Black Turbo Depths for a few years now, love the silliness of this deck even if it doesn't really hit top tier
This was amazingly concise and comprehensive. Such a simple combo deck with so many branches, explained perfectly.
Quick note, if your opponent is on blood moon, depths enters with no counters. Removing the moon will immediately make marit lage.
