So I think he deserves to be address by tha, and maharana fought for his native land so he deserves little more than akbar.
Yes chittor massacre was unfortunate but there is still debate among historians why he did it Most reliable sources suggest that akbar did that because local population participated in the defence and was a major cause for high casualties Akbar took ranthambhore around that time and he didn't massacre anyone so its debatable
