    Wade just saved me a minimum of $200. After following his instructions, I found that my ignition wasn't lighting. He showed me how to remove the grill and heat plates, and clean the igniter and burners with a toothbrush. VOILA! It worked! I'm so happy! Thanks, Wade! This is the most comprehensive and easy site I found.

    I can't thank you enough for this video. I was all set to buy a new grill, but just on a whim did a search for a fix-it guide online. Yours was the first video that came up. On it I learned the pressure regulator needed to be reset, followed your instructions and bingo, it's working just fine now. You saved me a lot of money.
    Sears, I'm grateful for this. I really hope you guys can pull through.

    I don't usually like or comment in videos, but that part about the flow limiting device helped me a bunch, I was frustrated how a tank I just got last week barely got the burners running, watching your video helped me figure out that was the problem. Thank you and God bless

    I do not have a special small knob to push for ignitor. I have to push the large ignition burner on the far left. How do I get to the battery for the ignitor. I took off the large knob and no battery inside of that and no clue in finding the battery.

    • @searspartsdirect
      @searspartsdirect  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not all grills use a battery. Some models use a piezoelectric starter that doesn't need a battery to generate the ignition spark. If your grill has that type of igniter, you'll likely need to replace the igniter if it isn't producing an ignition spark. If you're unsure which type of igniter your grill has, let us know the model number of your grill and we'll let you know the type of igniter that it uses.

    Help my electric igniter does work, it sounds...but I don’t see any pulse outside and it won’t light up! It rained all day and it got wet. Does that have to do with my issue??

    • @searspartsdirect
      @searspartsdirect  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      A wet igniter electrode can prevent the igniter spark from arcing to light the burner. Let the grill dry completely after the rain stops and see if the igniter works. If not, follow the troubleshooting steps described in the video to fix the problem.
