midsommar

I wrote this one for my wife Alexandra about an adventure we had in Gothenburg on Midsommar.
the sky is blue and i want to go with you for a picnic
we'll take number three tram to virginsgatan
and walk from there into the forest
you made up the pasties with samosa filling
what did i do to deserve my time with you?
we still have about an hour
before we're climbing those stairs
wandering down the slope
into west long lake
where our picnic awaits
where the pine trees sway
greet us good day
under a calm blue sky
you and i
