How do you know when an Opal is hydrophane? Is every single stone tested before it's sold? That seems very labor intensive. I have a piece that looks exactly like this piece and I was told not to let it get dry. I am trying to imagine how they can tell when they are handling tons of?
The hydro will feel sticky if you wet your finger and touch it.
