Captain Sean is one of my favorites on Deadliest catch. He might be the youngest captain but he always seems so much more in control and confident. Glad to see him excel. There is a role model for kids!
I had a very close friend die of ALS it is heart-wrenching to see a physically strong person one day and the next your helping them clean up after using the bathroom then helping them use the bathroom. I'm glad I was there for him through it all but it does take a piece out of you and the glass bubble (superman syndrome) is forever shattered, maybe that is a good thing but I will never forget the one thing he told me the morning he died "If I had known just how bad this was going to be, I would have shot myself when I was strong enough to do so." This was a man who went to church every Wednesday and Sunday for him to say that knowing suicide is considered a sin says so much. I know he is without pain now but I miss him and always will.
I really do be that he is not only the youngest but may very well turn out to be the greatest captain. He examples maturity , in knowledge , intelligence, works hard ,doesn't take chances, cares about his men , cares about the environment the fisheries he is very balanced and obviously had great parents. God bless you Sean dwyer good luck and I'm very proud of you also
Im confused and I do not watch Deadliest catch so maybe im missing something here? He says he is the youngest captain in the bering sea however this whole video is tendering humpies and dogs for south east seiners?? i’m not discrediting him just confused by the video and what he’s saying.

Well done! I love how he expects each of his deckhands to treat each other with respect! None of the bulling that other boats have.
