Those of us that live paycheck to paycheck would love to have you pay some of the cost to make sure a contractor gets the job done professionally, because that's what we can afford. I'm going to put a roof on my house with what I can afford, not what somebody who can afford to pay the big bills can tell me I need to get.

About eighty-five dollars a square foot.

@@dogbone1065 so a 1,330 sf ft roof at $85.00 per sq ft would cost over $113,000. Did you possibly mean $8.50 per sq ft? I ask because I paid $11,900 for my roof replacement not including a few spots that required wood replacement. Again, Thank you for your time.

That roof is twenty years old. I would never trust a roofer that lies.
