Pretty brave to post original music, but you have been sharing your honest truths all along, so not surprised. I’m not a music critic, but that song had so much substance. I like your heartfelt honestness. It did seem like a poem that was needing some resolution at the end, a saving grace, and a hopeful ending, maybe thats just me. Your really fluid with your words, and I would say don’t stop. I actually took guitar lessons a few months in my thirties too.

Writing is hard, putting yourself out there to share your art is even harder. Be proud of yourself and know just by trying you impact our growth as a species and our place in the universe.

Not bad change your chord progression. Maybe try different chord then B flat. Use a lot of conviction in your writing.
