Strength is always great and impressive, but if you always take that old man and put him back in his 25-35 prime, that's peak power because it's the best overlap streamline between body reflexes, striking power, and experience. Hanzo beat those three in their primes. But with wisdom they lose versatility with their bodies. But they gain power strength of stronger jutsus with time and experience. People are so comfortable calling those three Sanins but I always find it weird. They won't give the man who deemed them that name the respect he deserves. Hanzo was the best body flicker master in his time . Touted as an unofficial kage and was the man who crippled Nagato. Hanzo wore the mask not because the gas he exhaled was poisonous to him but because if for some reason the bag he had inside was cut open he would be poisoned. He explained this in the battle against mifune

The 3 Sanin were def not in their prime. However, when “older” Jiriya heard Hanzo was defeated, even he stated he didn’t think anyone was capable of besting him. This can give us insight to how strong a “experienced Jiriya” gauged Hanzo’s power/capabilities. Clda Hanzo take all 3 “older Sanin”? Probably not without dying himself, but he wld def kill 1-2 and severely wound/cripple the other. Since he was given the same caution as 4th Hokage, it’s only fair to give him the same power level. If he didn’t fall victim to Danzo’s manipulation and his depression, he wld have only gotten smarter/experienced and clda have taken on more pains than Jiriya.

Hanzo fighting the 3 Legendary sanin is one of the Episode’s Mashashi kishimoto should explain. We must see how Orichimaru, Jiraiya and Stunade lost the fight. Aside from Madara and Hashirama battle, these battle’s is what im exited to see in a Movie.
He did wear it to protect those around him because his entire body, including his breath, was toxic, and also made sure to leave it on when fighting those who would be skilled (and I presume knowledgeable) enough to pierce his poison sac. Although that excuse is dumb to me to because those are the opponents he should use poison against, not those he could one-shot with skill alone.
Another note, he became super paranoid. Anyone going to see him would be extensively searched and vetted before approaching for his security. It gave him peace of mind and protection, but he lost his edge and his abilities declined so Pain had an easier fight than the Sanin, who was disgusted by how he became towards the end of his life
This is the anime version which vilified tf outta Danzō. In the manga, Hanzo was planning on betraying Akatsuki the entire time. Danzō just went there for an alliance between their villages since most wars end up there, and got roped into it to secure the alliance.
They were granted the title of Sanin not because they beat him, but because they survived.

The definition of prime is between ages 25 and 35. Thus a biological marker, not wisdom. People tend to conflate the two. Anime old man. Strength is always great and impressive, but if you always take that old man and put him back in his 25-35 prime, that's peak power because it's the best overlap streamline between body reflexes, striking power, and experience.
Hanzo beat those three in their primes. But with wisdom they lose versatility with their bodies. But they gain power strength of stronger jutsus with time and experience.
People are so comfortable calling those three Sanins but I always find it weird. They won't give the man who deemed them that name the respect he deserves. Hanzo was the best body flicker master in his time . Touted as an unofficial kage and was the man who crippled Nagato.

Jiraiya was a beast when he was older, whereas the likes of Kakashi and Itachi achieved so much more when they were younger, that’s why they grew up to be feared as they were. Naruto and Sasuke on the other hand were already stronger than anyone during their Valley of the End battle and they were just 16 but Naruto today is weaker compared to Boruto as the show clearly shows, I can name a lot of scenarios where people where monsters before 25 or after 35. I respect opinions but I have a problem with taking anyone seriously seeing that they are just going out of their way to sound senseless.

Again Danzo not only caused the Uchiha Massacre, but also turned Nagato into Pain through his manipulation of Hanzo, which caused the Akatsuki to become the terrorist organization it was in Naruto Part 1 & 2! Seriously all the guy did was create enemies for the Leaf Village and sabotaged other villages that could have become allies in the future especially considering Nagato, Yahiko, & Konan were Jiraya's pupils so I imagine they could have worked with Hanzo & the Rain could have possibly even come to some sort of peaceful coexistence with the Leaf, with the Akatsuki as a force for Good rather than a tool of Black Zetsu, Madara, & Obito/Tobi!

He wore the mask for several reasons, the main was to not kill everyone around him by breathing the air he exhaled. He was also nearly immune to poison, but if his organ got punctured then the poisonous fumes would be so potent that it would be strong enough to paralyze him even though it wouldn’t kill him.

Can we all agree that Naruto is so vast and full of mystery. So many characters could have their own series.
The 3 Sanin were def not in their prime.
However, when “older” Jiriya heard Hanzo was defeated, even he stated he didn’t think anyone was capable of besting him. This can give us insight to how strong a “experienced Jiriya” gauged Hanzo’s power/capabilities. Clda Hanzo take all 3 “older Sanin”? Probably not without dying himself, but he wld def kill 1-2 and severely wound/cripple the other.
Since he was given the same caution as 4th Hokage, it’s only fair to give him the same power level. If he didn’t fall victim to Danzo’s manipulation and his depression, he wld have only gotten smarter/experienced and clda have taken on more pains than Jiriya.

Greed and pride slowly but surely killed his mind. Neglect, fear, and worrying killed his body. Danzo is a leaf parallel, a prime example of a leader figure that is easily corruptible when given enough power. In the end, both of them died horribly, clutching a power they can't control.

He didn't ware the mask because he would breath poison, he wore it in case the sack was cut or ruptured during battle
He did wear it to protect those around him because his entire body, including his breath, was toxic, and also made sure to leave it on when fighting those who would be skilled (and I presume knowledgeable) enough to pierce his poison sac. Although that excuse is dumb to me to because those are the opponents he should use poison against, not those he could one-shot with skill alone.

Another note, he became super paranoid. Anyone going to see him would be extensively searched and vetted before approaching for his security. It gave him peace of mind and protection, but he lost his edge and his abilities declined so Pain had an easier fight than the Sanin, who was disgusted by how he became towards the end of his life

This is the anime version which vilified tf outta Danzō. In the manga, Hanzo was planning on betraying Akatsuki the entire time. Danzō just went there for an alliance between their villages since most wars end up there, and got roped into it to secure the alliance.
