    4/6 Stained Glass.
Under Monty Don's watchful eye, three hopefuls who are passionate about learning the craft of stained glass are put through their paces by Sophie Hussein, who has been working in the field of stained glass for nearly twenty years. It takes four to five years to train properly as a stained glass craftsman. During their six-week course, the trainees learn the foundations of the craft -- from how to cut glass incredibly accurately, to leading up and glazing a window.

I love these people. I love the energy of the older lady, being bold at an older age when most people don’t try new things. The long hair guy can be a bit of a knob but I’m sure he’s just trying to find his way. And the teacher and the other lady are just so scrumptious.

14:18 , the tree in the background offer much much more beauty than the best thing a human can produce.. alas very few people would ponder on that. There is no match to that..

The time they are given is not enough l could get any one to cut glass in one two days but that’s in straight line but too cut shapes you have to know your glass

I will walk out if I was that young man, that instructor keeps picking on him, the only man in the group.

The truth is that ALL serious stained glass windows are now double glazed, usually with one sheet of 1/4 plexiglass. The old criteria of perfect putty, weathering in, perfect lead joints is not critical. From 30ft no one will critique the construction but they will critique the design! Focus on that and let the sour grape perfectionists pound sand.

So apparently, nobody in the UK has any clue how to pronounce "solder".
