Absolutely one of the most beautiful cars ever made, esp. the "bubble top," which tern I never heard growing up. Oh those gorgeous tri-color seat covers, which came in quite a few variations, depending on the exterior color. Just nothing like it. Of course the triple tail lights too.
I had a 59 Bonneville same exact color inside and out 389 4 Barrel I used to love driving that car what a ride would Cruise 80 miles an hour all day long
Is that the 318, or the 348-hp Tri-Power Trophy 389? Give that radio a fightin' chance.. If factory, these were tube, not transistor units. They need to "warm up", so a few seconds are needed for it to power up.
It's an original. They didn't come with skirts. Buy it and put skirts on it and lose thousands of dollars in value. Why not just yank the motor and put a crate engine in it? You don't it, do you?
@@canibusnj I had a 61 ventura convertible. There's no room between wheel and body. You would have to have a 50's style skirt that attaches on and over body. Don't know if that would look right.
World class collectible

Couldn't agree more!
The "bubble top" - exact same roof and glass - was offered across the GM line for 1961, even on Buicks.
Thank you for the appreciaction

Beautiful vehicle all around ! I wish I could afford it! I would buy it in a New York minute!

You’re absolutely right,believe they didn’t go transistors until’63
Beautiful car, They just don't make them like that anymore, no style with the new stuff they make now days.
Almost all steering wheels like this were quite yellowed and are quite ugly. This is the nicest one I've ever seen. 3-4-22. St.Joseph, MO
Wow, don't see many of them around. And none in that good of condition. Thanks
Nice car, would look even better with skirts.
If it were a convertible I'd agree.

@@CruisinClassicsinc Both convertible and hardtop. Why do you say just convertible?!

@@b58hustler71 No, I get it. Didn't some of the Bonnys get skirts though? I thought the Cattys were the ones that didn't get them.
