the selectable 2wd / 4wd was the absolute selling point for me.
I have an ifs enduro which turned itself into 2wd and it's a ton of fun... I don't want to fix it...
but it's terrible at "crawling"

you need a big sand pile then you can blast it with the hose and make all kinds of interesting climbs
I actually like that body on there. I get the performance LCG aspect of a lower lighter body. But that one looks good. Nice choice on the color. Love your videos brother.

I like your videos !! I have bought a vs4-10 ultra last Xmas and I hear clicking, I think it's comming from the transmission, for a truck at that price it should be better, my early bronco and all my other trucks are doing no noise, can you post the video of the mod you did on your phoenix ?
so , now that you know how it behaves , would you have chosen the faster axe motor in retrospect if building again ? i still havent decided on mine which one to get
I have the 2800 in the pro and am considering swapping this 2100 out for that.
The gearing ratio favors the 2800kv and in any case you can always gear up by going with a 11T pinion... Stock gearing is 15/52.

With 15T pinion and 13 turns motor, were you getting high temperatures on 3s? That's my case.

I want a trans like this in the Capra! The 2 to 4wd is cool! It makes it more real life.. when u don’t want 4wd run n 2.. make trails more fun to see how far u can get n 2wd and then see if u can get yourself out of the spot by switching to 4wd.. Idk just my opinion. But I would enjoy the Trans like that for my use..
I would try to frank enstein my way with trx4 locking diffs plus that transmission from the pheonix to make the most realistic trail truck driveline possible. Who knows? Scale points maybe?
