Hi there. Just wanna point a couple of things about this great pocket flashlight. First, the one i love: if you click once and hold, the X2 turns on in low mode despiting the mode it was previously; if you click twice (no hold), you get direct turbo; f you click three times (again no hold), you get direct strobe. Just be careful when locking it, bc if you miss the four clicks, you will end "strobing" yourself or someone else instead of securing your flashlight. Second, the one i dislike A LOT: the X2 has not BEACON MODE (that sucks) and no magnetic tail either (that also sucks bc it doesn't sticks). Another thing i miss is a reversible clip. No problem with the one provided, but i would love to see a "dual side" clip on this baby. Another thing i've noticed is that if you ramp the strobe mode, it change the flash frequency (haven't tried on turbo mode, maybe will get 3000 lm 😁). The funny thing is perfection is an illusion bc it does not exist (where the f*** is my cold white 3000lm, moon - medium - high - turbo - strobe - SOS - beacon - jedi lightsaber modes with reversible clip, magnetic tail and beer opener that i always dreamed about? 😞
Get orings to fit the clip screws. Uninstall clip. Install orings onto screws so they are between the clip and the body. Reinstall clip. Now there is a slight pivot point flex for the clip and it is still tight. If needed maybe apply some Loctite Blue.
I have this Wuben on order. I'm just learning that they use the two different emitters as with the X0. The problem is that the order page does not allow you to specify, but it seems as though the white body models are the Samsung neutral emitter and the black ones are the Osram emitters. I just checked again and there is no way to choose the emitter or is the emitter specified under each selection. BTW, I received the X1 yesterday in white and it is amazingly bright. Not sure if they are offering both emitters in that light or not, but it certainly does perform very well, although quite heavy!
Thanks for watching! We’ve been growing recently. Stay turned for a give away next week. To celebrate the channel growing, I’ll be giving away 7 flashlights to subscribers, stay tuned!
My biggest gripe is no moonlight. With something like a X-1 I wouldn't find it necessary to have moonlight because of its size and purpose. But for my small EDC flashlight that I would have in my pocket/bedside every night, I need to have a
Could that be because they cant get the 3 leds as low as just one? I think the lack off moonlight might be due to some physical limitations, if anyone can confirm this it' ll be great. Cheeers
I just looked at this light on amazon and apparently it includes a red plastic diffusor and a really cool flat usb c cable, that might be worth keeping in mind when buying
Nice im looking some led that samsung made cause my samsung phone flashlight is def outsanding performer mini flood thrower for phone light they def make a reliable led. And nice tint too!
I’m on the opposite side of the coin. I never burn through a battery charge in a single day. And I have never had a light so long that the batteries gave out-I break or lose them way before that.
@@cheule It is irrelevant that you break the flashlights before the battery dies. The really important thing is that Wuben don´t puts stupid limitations. And the non-removable battery is a stupid limitation in this case, the clearest example is the Wuben X1, which does have interchangeable batteries. They could have made X2 with removable batteries, but they haven't because they didn't want to do it that way, planned obsolescence, batteries dies and you have to buy another one flashlight. I mean, what they want is to make more money. Despite this, the truth is that I have fallen into temptation, and I have bought a white Wuben X2 with Samsung LH35D for 64 EUR.
Is there a newer version of this light? I want to make sure I’m not getting an old version on Amazon. Some of them say “lightok” and some don’t and there’s a new and improved clip. Also I want the white one and do they (the white ones) all have the Samsung? If anyone reads this and knows I’d appreciate any input. The one on Amazon says it’s an 1800 lumen. I just was wondering because some say it’s over 2300 lumens. Is that just the cool white? Thanks
Only one version, but in two emitter styles. The Osram P9 is the higher lumens, but the Samsung lh351d is higher CRI, and the one I would choose. It used to me that the P9 came in the black, no the lh351d came in the white.
All of them seem to be good. Like most flashlights you can buy today are - my $15 headlight performs the same way. It would be cool if you could do the tests in the dark - the city just has too many lights.
There are many functional, practical, flashlights by a number of manufacturers but Wuben is (one of) the only brand(s) that is trying to separate themselves from the pack and match the market leader in terms of design. Olight, the market leader, has great UI and looks. The Wuben X0, 1 and now 2 are fabulous looking machines with distinct, unique looks. I have owned an X0 for a few days and my one point of concern is the switch; it feels more flimsy than the rest of the light. X2 is probably similar feeling. It rattles when not magnetized down and is all held together with a very thin pin. Looks like the "top hat" on the X0 and the button on the X2 are removable so maybe Wuben will reinforce and upgrade these parts in future releases.
Good review. I did order an X0 based on your review about 3 weeks ago, and did not yet get a shipping confirmation by Wuben. They do not respond quickly to customer service inquiries so I am somewhat hesitant at this stage to order something else. They just sent a 20% off message on the X2, but as I said I will wait for my X0 to arrive before getting anything else from them.
Sorry to hear about the slow replies. I know many channel viewers have been receiving their X-0s, I’m sure it’ll be ok. I know a flashlight I bought recently (before thanksgiving) just arrived. The mandatory lockdowns in China have Ben causing so many delays.
Just got it. Love it. However, only issue I’m facing is locking it out. If I do not press it with a certain rhythm four times, it won’t lock out. Did you face similar issues?
Manufacturers are still choosing lh351d for output. I agree of course, but outside the enthusiast community, common folk don’t notice the 0.0030 of the lh351d at all.
@@cheule That makes sense. I plan to use the X-0 as a hands-off hiking light when I go out for late night walks on trails. The X-2 definitely looks like an EDC. Currently I use the Wurkkos TS21 as my EDC but this looks very promising. My only complaint with the TS21 is that it isn't regulated (or at least I got one that isn't properly regulated), so it throttles even its medium mode.
I ordered one over a month ago. Haven't heard anything since! I also ordered the larger one and was sent s shipping notification but the tracking number says its been sitting in New Jersey for a month. I wouldn't suggest doing business with this company. I guess I'll notify my credit card company and see if I can get my money refunded.
As I said to your other post on another one of my videos, the entire flashlight industry in China shut down for two weeks because of Chinese new year. Chinese new year is kind of like Thanksgiving and Christmas rolled all into one for mainland China. People from all over China shut down their businesses and travel to their hometown’s to rest and feast. We see the same behavior every year around this time, just hang in there. I’m sure you’ll get it soon.

I’ve been trying to contact them about this through ‘email and no response. I’m starting to believe I’ve been ripped off. Don’t trust this company especially if you have any questions or concerns. I will not be buying from them again.
I got the X-0 thanks to your review and was not disappointed. The build quality is something else.
Thanks for reporting back! Yes, it’s built like a tank.
Just received mine in the mail yesterday. Super impressed. High quality build. Super bright. Tons of features. Very trick lanyard/charging cord.
ordered the copper X2. Can't wait for it to be available. I owned the X1 and its a fantastic light

Wuben is kinda listening to our enthusiasts request but I think they should offer more emitter options. 519 when? Or where?
