- I noticed some beaver activity along the river. So I bought a trail camera to catch the beaver in action. I edited out a few clips and posted it on FaceBook for friends and family to see. People really seemed to enjoy the video and the video went viral. Although I am please about the success of the video, I felt kind of bad for not putting more effort into it. Also, many people thought the beaver was hit by the tree. It wasn't. So I decided to edit out a better version. I hope people enjoy this one as much as the last. Thanks for watching and enjoy!!

Well a trap works great for killing the beaver but it wouldn’t do well in recording its activities.

Beavers gotta be one of the most amusing animals to watch in action. My favorite video was one where in the middle of winter a beaver family allowed some muskrats to sleep in their den with them as long as they brought food from outside

Thank you for adding this; I too had watched the viral video and thought the beaver may have been hit by the tree. It happens! But it's nice to hear he didn't, this time. My best wishes for his continued good fortune. Where I grew up (320 miles north) we had a lot of beaver, I don't see as many here but I always liked them. Not quite as much as porcupines, but they seem to have similar, harmless personalities. Well unless you are a tree or something that tries to bite a porky, then I guess not so harmless. Very sweet and docile though; totally defensive animals.

Danny Garden Nah, that’s what you call precision a bite here a bite there and it will fall exactly two inches from my head.
Many people don't know this but A LOT of beavers die by having trees fall on them. They really don't know where the tree is falling, they just hear the cracking so they run for it and hope for the best.

My wife had a 5 yr old in her classroom. The boy was on vaca with his family in NH and while swimming a beaver came and bit him on the back. Ouchie!!! That was years ago but i think of it every time i see a beaver chomping away!
