Wonderful video...thank you for sharing your experience. I lived in Neu Ulm, West Germany as a child from age 6-9 years old...that’s over 30+ years ago. I remember regularly walking by the front doors of the Munster (how we Americans pronounced it) about 3 times a week while on the way to our own church. Sometimes as a child, you don’t fully appreciate or really notice the beauty around you. I hope one day I can go back to see the wonderful area through adult eyes.
Ah, that's nice to hear your story. Thank your to sharing that. I'm thrilled this video helped you relive some memories. We're you a military family stationed in W.G?
@@travelmvmtyes, my dad was in the Army and my sister, brothers, and I had no idea we were leaving the US and about to embark on a wonderful adventure/opportunity- living in Europe, despite at a time when the wall divided East and West Germany. I realize much has changed over time in that area- some of your video footage is unrecognizable...however, what has not changed is the beauty of the region- it’s simply stunning and breathtaking. I’m sure you felt that same feeling. 🙏thank you again- I appreciate seeing the views through your adult eyes.
The height is 530ft (160m), and is the tallest cathedral in the world, and the second tallest ecclesiastical building, surpassed only by Chicago Methodist Church at 568ft (173m).
As a Christian i feel very proud to see such amazing Churches, thank you.
My pleasure paul!
