This set is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! I'm very excited to see the movies. The only things I don't like about this set are the minifigures. I don't have a problem with the legs and hands but the faces...
I know the price is a little high but I gotta say it’s so worth it, I’m a Lego Star Wars guy but loved the avatar movies and new game and gotta say this is one of the coolest sets I’ve ever built ‼️‼️‼️can’t wait for more of this theme in Lego ‼️
I seem to be an outlier in that I utterly disagree that a regular minifigure head would have worked better. I think the choice to add more variety of pieces is always a good choice. We as Lego fans must support this in order to see the brand grow and expand.
This is a great set, it’s SO expensive but it’s really cool. I’m still unsure if I like the not-so-minifigures lol, but I want them anyways haha. The Banshee is really cool, but for some reason the standout for me is the blue horse thing, seriously. I love specially molded creatures and think it’s just perfect!
Nice that you mentioned the Lego Movie 2, I got the same vibe from some of the Pandora scenery as well. ☺️ Will definitely pick up all these Avatar sets, I think they all look amazing.
The Toruk Makto is both amazing and lack luster. Lego just don't get colour separation right on most of them, also why does lego doesn't have knees on dragons yet like seriously
I feel like this could have been separated into two sets. I always bought sets with dragons in them specifically for the dragons, so having a slightly more complex banshee at the cost of a separate tree of souls and rock pieces would have been nice. Although, it would break the scene it's trying to create and give you double-ups of figures.
I feel you. As someone who loves the color scheme of all the sets I do think everything will look super nice when you have the whole wave out side by side

Neytiris hair is actually different to Mordos hairpiece in the sanctum, mordos hair is longer and doesn’t have the bar at the bottom
Yeah, the leaks said they would be the same, but Mordo’s hairpiece was actually different though, and never even leaked I believe.

This set is so great and gives off some real ninjago vibes. I’m glad it isn’t ninjago though because it’ll probably go on sale a lot 😂
The tree is stunning... not a Avatar fan but feel like a must have.... if the price tag a bit lower would have 4 or 5 to make a big tree

the handles are there to connect the other parts of pandora's fauna with the tree of souls
I like them, but I think they needed a Friends-style nose that actually has form. Otherwise they’re just 🗿 from a profile angle

Interesting that the arms look slightly different from the Woody arms. Like they're a little bit thicker, whereas the Woody arms were more slender.

The trans Technic pillar piece is so cool. I imagine many will use those in their cities for flying vehicles.
They could use this minifigure mold for sauron since he is taller then everyone

12:09 Those are actually called spiracles. Essentially an extra orifice just for breathing, insects also breathe using spiracles.
These builds and minifigures are cool and nice but I don’t think I’m going to get this set because I’m not a big fan of avatar
