10 Minute Office Repair - Fail

- Well, there really is no quick way of repairing anything.
Especially in 10 minutes. Today, I need to do a repair and stop procrastinating. But the repair has nothing to do with the acoustic guitar hanging on the wall.
It is one of those simple jobs that are not terribly complicated but you just can't be bothered getting around to doing it. Well, today is the day and I do get it done.
This channel provides free lessons on building acoustic and electric guitars. In addition, we will feature videos relating to guitar maintenance, repair, and the development of jigs.

I love reading aloud- the thing I hate most about university libraries is that they are "quiet spaces" where speaking gets you booted. Also, 10 minute jobs take longer when you care to film them for our benefit! All the best Mr. McKinnon!
You are right on. But, I've never been kicked out of a library that I can recall.
Haha so true!! Everything always takes longer than you expect. Very rarely does it go to plan, we must learn to work around the issues! Great video 🤩

My 10 minute jobs can easily stretch to 2 weeks. Great idea to hang the fruits of your labor in your office. I have all of my guitars on hangers too. Got a real nice hand made Lowden guitar and a Gibson J200. My babies.

isn't it good to get them jobs done ! I don't know about 10 minutes .. but sometimes it might take years , just to get started !
That is true. It can't take a long time to get started as it did with me because I was procrastinating. But once I get going thinking, it's a 10 minute job turns into an hour and a half. Annoying.
The same way Peter can't make a video in 2 minutes for his 2 minute tuesday episode . Monty should have 10 minute thursday's
I like the idea but it is so similar to Peter's Two minute Tuesdays. I need something different. But, thanks for the suggestion. Keep them coming...I can use the help.

I'm usually very accurate in estimating time to do a job. The only jobs that are 10 minutes are making Tea and eating cookies. Everything else is at least an hour. 🙂

A "well placed" potted plant makes it a ten minute job.

@@MontyMcKinnon You did it right, of course! I also got a kick out of the latch mechanism that gently locked around the neck of your guitar. Clever.

You too? I went downstairs yesterday to cut some wood and saw the top of my guitar and started using the chisel and some sandpaper to finish off lowering some of the bracing. Then I had to remind myself I am working on the baseboard. L O L.
