A raidleader has to sync his raid and make the anouncments, including regrouping or reassigning special duties to ppl when someone dies. He does it perfectly
The reason they did good is because of this leader yet the comments at the start say they are surprised everyone’s doing good for a pub group no one thinks to thank the director!?!! Lol who ever this guy is props to you bro
I could never lead like this. It's all I can do to keep myself out of the poop let alone basically narrate the entire fight..props to raid leaders, especially chill guys like this. I'd join his guild in a heartbeat.
We used to have a few raid leaders just like that. Awesome guys and never got pissed off if anyone made a mistake. One of them was the sort of guy who could play absolutely any role(and often did) to perfection
Reminds me of when I used to play WoW. My guild leader was pretty much just like this. Thats why it was such fun to raid...and we got server first too. You dont need to be a jerk to get things done.
You guys had a great explanation of the strat, an absolutely great and fully helping raid leader, saying everything that had to be done during the encounter, and still managed to fail. Impressive.
I was this type of raid lead, and had them too. No matter how good the explanation, few people can remember lists of complex mechanics without repeated attempts.
Looks like he has integrity and self esteem, pretty good overall good character. Im a firm believer that people should be treated online the same as you would treat them in person. Too many people use anonymity as an excuse to show how much of a shallow douche they are on the inside, instead of an opportunity to be improve ones character through showing respect towards others, whether they deserve it or not.
Its more like way too many plebs like you running around knowing 10% of the tactics and 30% of their own class, most likely S never rebound to a spell and backpaddling like a pro.
Couldn't agree more. Had a leader like this back in classic-BC ended up with a "MANY WHELPS!!" type guy in Wrath and not only quit raiding I left the game for a couple of years. Bad raid leaders will ruin you. I felt like I was coming gome from work to do another, shittier job that I paid for. So yeah, I might raid again for a guy like this.... Maybe lol
BFA was the first expansion where I got a chance to raid. I'm in a casual, family guild, so raiding isn't our thing, but one of our officers introduced me to another guild, and their raid leader is just like this guy: always calm, collected, never angry. Harshest you'll ever hear from him is "focus up" if Discord is getting too noisy. With their help, I cleared Heroic N'zoth and got my Uncorrupted Voidwing. Was such a great feeling, getting to be a real hero for the first time since I started playing. :)
wow what an intense encounter looking back at it. It's really great having a good raid leader, but what's even better is having amazing content like this. RIP WOW
Ah the memories of progression raiding. I was never this calm. The anger and rage during wipe after wipe and the pure joy when the group finally dropped the boss.
What's funny is if you read books about what makes a good leader in a corporate environment, most WoW raid leaders do the absolute opposite of everything you're supposed to.
back in vanilla i was in a pvp guild. we had a guild leader who controlled us in wsg etc. dude was able to tell by name to each one of us where to be what to do. disengage and move centre etc. dude was playing an rts in pvp. really enjoyed the steam rolling we did in bgs back then. we were also savages... good times...
cuz it's more pleasing with lower numbers. Critting for a 1k in vanilla as an enhancement shaman was way more pleasing than seeing constant 800,000 numbers popping up like it is nothing
I miss this fight, was a fun fight imo, specially when my guild had this special hunter who managed to Disengage not once, not twice but THRICE off of the platform on Twisting Nether Phase xD
(/s) Yea better just live solely to the expectations of other people. Only do something what others will acknowledge you for-.- (/s) Just looking down on people who try to achieve something whether it be in sports or gaming, is ... Do I even have to fill in?
This is exactly what I used to do. If I didn't, certain people would never have a fucking clue what was happening. It's easier not to bombard people with the whole fight up front and just give short brief commands at certain points through the fight otherwise people just forget or aren't paying attention. A good raid leader sees everything happening in the fight and calmly announces to the group who know what action they need to take.
This raid leader I would follow into a raid. And I'd love to play D&D with him as the DM. I have raid led myself countless times and he puts me to shame lol
Honestly, I've had nothing but awful experiences with the people from Illidan, they not only rage the most but they also seem to ALL think that they're x/x mythic God raiders. The fact of the matter is... Just because you're from a good server, doesn't mean that YOU'RE good.
man I actually enjoyed WoD a lot, the only thing that made it bad was the garrisons. Super underrated expansion. Tanaan jungle wpvp was dope and I liked how you couldn't get flying right away.
I am a wow player who did pvp for 1 year and became rank 14, then didn't play video games for 10 years. Then, only played wow for 7 years to bless people based on non violence. I can't do violence in video games since december 2006. Regards, Alex.
The game is all but balanced around the existence of addons at this point. This boss in particular was notorious for essentially requiring an addon for it to be realistically beatable on Mythic difficulty. Method basically had to make their own radar addon so they could deal with Wrought Chaos on phase 2.
Sure, because even if the raid leader tells everybody exactly what to do and the raid manages to wipe, its the leaders fault..? A leader is only one part of 10 or 25 people, the only difference the status of the raid leader creates is that he is making calls. That means there are 9 or 24 variables, their "value" (skill + gear + knowledge) depending on what player you fill them with.
agree.... people cant do stuff on their own :D how hard can it be to learn 1 boss fight ? imagine surgery and a doctor that need to be told all time what to do because he is only 50 % focused :D
Gabor Balint nah I've had raid leaders like this before. One guy that stands out the most taught a group of noobs how to do a raid in warframe and was insanely patient and forgiving when people messed up.
Back in WoD I was mythic geared to the teeth as a Druid (healer ms, and was just as geared for boomy and bear) Fun times it was, when I was bored I’d usually find a heroic pug group or guild group progressing and join to help them out and let them know what they were doing wrong and how to fix it, and of course getting carried by me 😂 majority of the groups tho were just lacking dps hard especially on Archimonde. Not sure why but I always liked helping people and it’s funny how they all think you’re a god when you’re full mythic equipped on the felsteel annihilator Mount. Kittyclysm - Dreadmaul if you want to Armory me. I stopped playing due to commitments during night hold guldan mythic progression 😭
This is what I feel like has turned alot of people away from WoW over the years. If you need to formulate how to build a quantum field generator with one hand, guide a manned shuttle to a safe landing on an asteroid with the other, while directing air traffic for the entire eastern seaboard, and there's a good chance you will still wipe, your game probably needs to tone down the complexity a bit.
WHELPS LEFT SIDE, EVEN SIDE MANY WHELPS, NOW HANDLE IT
Daddy That's a 50k dkp minus!
FUUUUUUUUUUUUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK
WATCH THE TAIL !!
Dot dot dot m9re dots
Hahahaha thats a classic
A raidleader has to sync his raid and make the anouncments, including regrouping or reassigning special duties to ppl when someone dies. He does it perfectly
...absolutely !
He even calls for bloodlust which is always appreciated by shammies
And this was a pug group..they did damn good
The reason they did good is because of this leader yet the comments at the start say they are surprised everyone’s doing good for a pub group no one thinks to thank the director!?!! Lol who ever this guy is props to you bro

its not difficult tho just requires more brain activity than spamming 3 buttons while listening
I keep expecting waiting to hear the shout "LEEEEROY!"
That was a PUG RAID. Unbelievable. I'm impressed.
We used to have a few raid leaders just like that. Awesome guys and never got pissed off if anyone made a mistake. One of them was the sort of guy who could play absolutely any role(and often did) to perfection

no you didnt
yes you did

Only takes one guy to space out, not listen, dc, or have comms issues.

Shinobu Araragi I love what you just said :p
Very well said
100% great comment
Shinobu Araragi except that being toxic online is the only time you can, so fuck bad players and fuck people who disagree with my opinion
Shinobu Araragi Who's that chick as your profile pic? You know, for research and all that jazz.
If more leaders existed like this I'd consider raiding again. Way too many toxic raiders nowadays
Its more like way too many plebs like you running around knowing 10% of the tactics and 30% of their own class, most likely S never rebound to a spell and backpaddling like a pro.
You just have to look. There are people out there
i agree with you omar. gotta learn the fight and mechanics right
@@HydroxXTV You done yet?

Was waiting for a rage. Kind of disappointed there wasn't one lol
yeah me too
this is having their hand held.
whats disappointing is that you saw best and expected the worst
exactly lol
Thank you for saving my time xD I came from a rage video and this was "Up next"

i dont wanna be ''that guy'' but heroic is kinda casual these days
@@enclave9614 😑😑
@@enclave9614 With the amount of weakauras and addons you have now even most mythic bosses are "casual".

Anytime you hear "don't stand in fire" you know it's raid finder
its not raid finder cuz there is no green eye on map
That was awesome for a pug!
What's funny is if you read books about what makes a good leader in a corporate environment, most WoW raid leaders do the absolute opposite of everything you're supposed to.
My raid leader always just told me to go drink bleach if I can't get the mechanics right.
"Kill the doompire spirit"
If it was my old raid leader, it would have been "kill the green testicle." 🤣
I haven't raided nor played WoW in a while. 1:47 This gave me PTSD.

Dives would have taken 50 dkp from all of these people.
The amount of health and damage increase we got from WoD to legion is ridculous 400k to like 5000k health as a dps lol
Wavey was the same with Cata
Why does that matter at all? It's just numbers
cuz it's more pleasing with lower numbers. Critting for a 1k in vanilla as an enhancement shaman was way more pleasing than seeing constant 800,000 numbers popping up like it is nothing
I have 6 as dps.
snorre andersen I just don't see it, I mean as long as you're competing with other players the number that you're competing with doesn't matter
This guy is shiroe from log horizon
I miss this fight, was a fun fight imo, specially when my guild had this special hunter who managed to Disengage not once, not twice but THRICE off of the platform on Twisting Nether Phase xD
That was a PUG?! Amazing leader indeed.
Love your description how he makes everything clear and says calls but you still manage to fck up
I wish I had a leader like this...
I quit WoW because of the last guild I was in. killed the raiding experience for me.
in my last guild the raid leader was a kid, guess what, i changed guilds!
(/s) Yea better just live solely to the expectations of other people.

Just looking down on people who try to achieve something whether it be in sports or gaming, is ... Do I even have to fill in?
In its prime with people like this, WoW was the greatest game on the planet 👍
my raid leader " ok you know what to do dont fuck it up." doesnt talk anymore
This is exactly what I used to do. If I didn't, certain people would never have a fucking clue what was happening. Just started WOW this looks like a hell of a difficult job!
Get this man a guild, he is way too good to be pugging
This randomly showed in my suggestions, looked like a hectic fight 😅
He's Shiro from Log Horizon!
well,i'll drink to that !
Insane call outs, literally knows the fight like the rest of his hand, holy shit, what a legendd
He needs his own guild, way too good to be pugging shit
getting mad isn't going to help everyone improve, same goes for a lot of things
holding everyone's hand and micromanaging every movement wont either
Well impressive how he stayed calm all the way and that's how real fucking leader looks like, Leaders can not be noobs or rage full ppl.
I never even considered playing wow this zoomed out. I always played it zoomed closer to my character. I feel so dumb
He's asking for lust when he is a mage and can do it himself.
Best leader i ever seen, so rare wish I could game with him
Damn his voice is cool and chill as hell. Back then my “Rage leader” was a dick lol
Super super calm, cool and collected.
Damn amazing skill to lead so well and calmly too.
This guy could probably lead anyone to victory
Well he did not

DingDongDanger as an illidan player, i feel it needs to be pointed out that Ragnaros is full of useless mongs.

man I actually enjoyed WoD a lot, the only thing that made it bad was the garrisons. Super underrated expansion. Tanaan jungle wpvp was dope and I liked how you couldn't get flying right away.
just the lack of content made it bad tbh. it could have been one of the best xpacs with the story it had behind it.
I used to do these preboss reviews. I never assumed everyone remembered or wasn't new

It’s like he teaching a yoga class 🧘♀️
that pug could actually be a very good raid guild :)
This seemed pretty cool then I realized it was heroic
Oh man, Ulduar xt-002 on hard mode got me Aesirs edge, and damn the amount of wipes on the assembly of iron was crazy.
Cool and calm makes for a fun gaming atmosphere. Wished I was as calm back in my raid leading days. :)
How do you get this good?!?!? I played when wc first came out. Definitely couldn’t keep up with it now. Wish I could
8:13 no! WHO'S the tank
rage was after the cut, you know it was there
Mages are best as RL as they only have a 2 button rotation so they have time to speak on vent
Anyone else watched the whole video waiting for RL to lose his shit :/?
I’m like where’s the screaming where’s the nuts
I remember when Demon hunters came out and like 50% of the raids consitited of DHs
who needs a leader, when all your mods are pointing you what to do and where to go....
Someone left.
Sounds like a butterbar
5:36 You cant triple stamp a double stamp, Lloyd
Wonder if he turn off all his addons with which basically a brand new player would be able to kill the encounter, how well would he do lol

Holyshadoww/Aegwynn
For the Horde!
This is why you send in the Mounties.
what addon is that, that shows where the Bearricade is at 3:38
What is this Scrolling combat text addon called! i need it !!
the positivity is insane, this was a pug
Wow they made that look way harder than it was. I thought it was Mythic with the way they were going on.

Since you didn't go grammarpolice on me: It's *a* LFR... ;-)
imagine raid without any helpers on the screen like this, good old TBC days...
The best leader knows when he is not condescending and able to speak up with a clear tone.
best raid lead and best microphone in the whole raid aswell xDD holy fuck
Yeah he is as cool as they come.
Those mics though like are people playing outside?
I leaded pugs in the first weeks of Naxx (WotLK). By the time Ulduar came out it seemed so easy.
the raid leaders so far that guilds i'm at haven't gotten pissed off except virus cough cough
PUG Raid leaders are the best Gamers this game has.
you know what gg that was a nice execution
'Bearricade' dope name for that bear tank
As someone who never really played WOW its really cool to see this amount of team coordination and work
now that was one calm and great raid leader, respect go out to him.
People spending months for that kinda sync in marines.Well fucking played dude.
Some people need to have their hand held...
how cool and mature you are. wow
That was more like good leadership and good teamwork, although it doesn't always need to be That thorough, it doesn't hurt.
that includes ya mum kevin

I would legit raid again if this was my RL.

@PerfectHiT his character name is Carramel? Who's easymeat? Are you making this up?
He's good, but he's no Captain Gromit. . .

bro come on, I downed this boss in HC, and almost on mythic in content when I was 15-16. Is it really that hard?
I got kicked once because I didn't knew 1 of the abilities the boss does but I knew the rest :I
This dude is a god
he is a Smooth operator! :)
