I am an actor and content creator with Hollywood credits including roles on Lucifer (Netflix), Starlight Christmas (Hallmark), JT Leroy (Universal Studios), etc. In this channel, I offer insight to Kpop performances using my 10+ years of training in dance, acting, singing and overall performance. In dance, my forte are contemporary and musicals and have done most of my performances in theatre. Although my channel is mostly known for dance analysis, I am currently inactive in the dance community.
The axis of NI-KI's head is accurate. This is a must for professional dancers. See also the strength of his neck. That's really great. He is a high level professional dancer.

Yeah I agree. The accuracy of the head axis you point out. Hit his head and the neck roll is really amazing.
NI-KI does not appeal his abilities, as EN-'s group choreography emphasizes the same movement. Therefore, some people without accurate criteria or experience do not understand NI-KI's talent and ability, but if you look at the details of his movements, you can clearly see his high level of skill.
Niki is actually a good choice for centre for a dance break cuz idk the way he delivers those moves is just WOW

actually recently when ni-ki was asked what type of dance he wanted to do more of that he doesnt get to rn, he said contemporary. so i hope we get to see some of that from him in the future too

i just wanted to mention how Ni-Ki is an amazing dancer with a huge back up story as a dancer. He started dancing at 3, was one of the shinee kids at 11 (so he performed few times at the Tokyo Dome). His dance teachers were Kento Mori (Michael Jackson's dancer), Rikimaru (famous dancer and kpop choreographer), Yorito (Taemin's dancer), Rino Nakasone (also a famous kpop choreographer, worked with SHINee, Girl generation, red velvet and more). At 13, he had his own dance workshop. There are a lot predebut videos of him, that's how we can see how talented he was even at such a young age. He can do ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz, contemporary, literally everything.

Yes, he mentioned that he was learning ballet in one of his I-land interviews, so I am glad that was pointed out in this review too! He can literally do it all even acrobatics! Love from the USA! 🇺🇸
I had posted a comment on one of a Kento Mori’s dance videos, right after Enhypen debuted, thanking him for “discovering” and mentoring Ni-Ki at such an early age because if not for that start we probably would not be able to see Ni-Ki on such a large platform today. Kento Mori gave him such a HUGE opportunity to begin his career with.
Kento actually responded to my comment thanking me for recognizing his mentorship and basically said he was proud of Riki’s success! It was so sweet and I could tell from his reply how kind of a person Kento must be!

ni-ki man , this song definitely suits him a lot along with fever. very deserving of the title of *enhypen’s main dancer* if you ask me
i don't know if u guys also notice the tiny details that Ni-ki adds to like just moving backwards or smth, but it's just so cool seeing it as a dancer myself. they're just THAT good.
Ni-Ki has done a ton of Taemin covers and rocks those, but the one I am waiting for personally is a Kai’s Mmmh dance cover!
Maybe that would be a little too mature for him right now; but he has done many other more mature dances and even if he waits to do it when he is older, I would still love to see it!
The stages for this song are incredible, Heeseung kills the audience every time he kisses his pinky
i agree with what you said about ni-ki dancing to girl group choreography. he did those dance without inserting masculinity or smtn (sorry hard to explain lol) but yeah, his dance line is crazy specially for his height, 6"1. he didn't look so lanky at all!
jake and jungwon are also really good :((( it's really satisfying to watch!
the fact that riki is significantly taller than the other members but still has *that* much control as to stay in sync with the others

Andy & Jas mentioned the lead-up to the dance break was reminiscent to 90s Korean music shows (the formation is specific) and they were so happy to see that incorporated into the choreography (it matches the build-up in the music). This song charted on the UK music charts, which is not surprising - when I first heard it, I got that "house" genre immediately (this is also a good song to clean my house haha).

ENHYPEN just started only a year ago! They’re young in age and they are soooooooo professional and amazing! They can do anything. They are all fantastic dancers but Ni-ki is on another level. LOVE them! They deserve all the support and love🥰

People should really stop sleeping on Enhypen. Ni-Ki's body lines and dance skills, ENHYPEN's clean dance moves, powerful breakdances and amazing synchronization spits fireee! dude their choreographies are all sooo satisfying to watch and all of their songs are addicting. ENHYPEN has 7 main dancers― SEVEN ALL ROUNDERS and no One can tell me otherwise.

Ni-ki is such a great dancer, he dance on point and very fluid. also just hearing ni-ki saying that "Dance is already part of my body" just proved how passionate he was and very prodigious talent... my respect for this boy is higher than the sky.

All ENGENES are really proud when it come to their Dancing they have one of the best dance line kpop.

So, for that jump move, would you focus on the arms going back, or the angle of the knees to the body? Because NI-KI/Jungwon had their knees 45 degrees to their body, Jake/Heeseung/Sunghoon/Jay had their knees ~30 degrees to their body, Sunoo ~20 degrees to his body. It looks like Heeseung/NI-KI/Jungwon are fully extending their arms behind their back, the others arms are more in a flying position. Its a split second and altogether it looks good, but if you're the choreographer, what would you have them work on as individuals, to make that move really pop (without their hurting themselves)?
