I am an actor and content creator with Hollywood credits including roles on Lucifer (Netflix), Starlight Christmas (Hallmark), JT Leroy (Universal Studios), etc. In this channel, I offer insight to Kpop performances using my 10+ years of training in dance, acting, singing and overall performance. I might be biased but I swear enhypen has one of the strongest dance lines, if not the strongest, in the 4th generation idol groups.
I do 100% agree though, it's because they're not just dancing with their bodies but also with their facial expressions. Like, their musicality is just insane. We saw how they hit every beat without a miss and every members have their own style which complements each other as a whole.

Fr though. You can clearly see how hard their dances are the moment they start to move their bodies. Besides they move positions alot and some parts of their dances are fast paced. Enhypen really put emphasis to their choreo. It's not just a dancing, it's an art.
No because fr, If you take one member, any member from Enhypen and put them in other groups, they would easily be on the dance line or be a lead or a main dancer.

Ni-Ki is not limited to "Boys" dances. He always explores. He did girl group dances/feminine, and ballet too. And I love how he's so great in dancing yet he did not overshadow his other members because first, he adjust to match himself to the whole group, and second, all members has their own style on how they executed the steps that's why even though they're not on the center they can still be "seen" and not become the shadow of the member in front of them.

I have seen a lot of comments on twt saying, "how are they still rookies, they don't fit that name anymore" and I agree...as you said, their teamwork, synchronization, movements, and then vocals, stability, as well as popularity, all that is above the rookie lvl. I am so impressed with these boys and I have no doubt they will grow bigger and bigger each comeback they'll have 😁

just a trivia that heeseung is no. 1 in terms of singing, rapping and dancing in bighit during their trainee days and then suddenly they said there's Ni-ki in belift who's really good in dancing. THEY ALL MAIN DANCER MATERIALS
yes, heeseung was their top trainee dancer within bighit. they said there was someone who was better in belift, which was ni-ki (their top dancer trainee, in both companies). it's crazy how the best dancers were placed in enhypen. they're literally too talented

FR! Like once covid ends and everything goes back to normal (unlikely covid changed our lives). Heeseung, Sunghoon, and Ni-Ki and even Jungwon do what Taemin and Kai does on their concert for like an hour and I wouldn't mind lol! Never have I been so jealous of a floor.

Not until you watch ni-ki’s predebut 7 rings and one shot two shot covers. Ni-ki understood the art of dancing and we could see how much he is so invested with it that he isn’t afraid to show what he’s got to the world

Jeff seriously needs to do a reaction to Ni-ki's pre-debut dance videos. my boy has been talented since birth. and about the more "feminine" choreos, I literally love how ni-ki does it with so much confidence and isn't afraid to show some feminity, he literally nails every genre
I saw alot of people saying his mom doesn't want those videos (ni-ki's pre-debut videos) to be spread around/ reposted. If that's the case, plz respect her wishes, guys.
@@engeneundercover557 its probably because they are from his parents dance studio and his sister and other young people that are non famous are part of the videos and maybe they talked to the mom that they dont wanne be exposed.
i think i saw a post where someone explained that it was okay (now) to post or share some pre-debut vids of ni-ki bcs his mother deleted that post (where she said to not post) because her explanation was, she thought ni-ki wont debut but he did eventually so yeah. but it's up to them if theyre still gonna share it or not ...

Ni-ki is seriously such an amazing performer, to think that he's only 15 years old astonishes me. he's literally one of the best 4th gen main dancers (in my opinion) and as time goes by and he gets more experience and training, he'll seriously become deadly on stage
fun fact about heeseung: he's known as the ace since he was a trainee in bighit. other trainees said that heeseung won everything (always got the first place) in monthly evaluation (every category, rap, dance and vocals) and doesn't feel like a trainee even before
didn't he trained with yeonjun? who also got the first place in everything in all his history as a trainee and even got called legendary trainee...how they both got the first place?
@@marciadiaz9398 Yeonjun was in bighit since 2014, Heeseung joined in 2017. txt have said Yeonjun always ranked either first or joint first so I'm guessing Heeseung was one of the top trainees, and when TXT stopped training with the other bighit trainees in 2018, he took the 1st raking in everything and held it for the next 2 years till he debuted.

I'm glad that Jeff notices how good Heeseung body lines because Heeseung is just so good in everything and I have been stanning Heeseung since episode 1 of Iland until now. It's interesting how you bring up the tweaks required to level their different heights, and I think Belift are aware this. Heeseung and Ni-ki are taller than Jake and Sunoo. They definitely squat lower in the chorus (Heeseung's thighs are practically parallel). And it's not obvious in the video but Sunoo is actually wearing platform sneakers here.
I am very happy that there are people like you who really admire Ni-Ki's skills in dancing.

8:44 I’ve noticed Ni-ki has more of a sensual-feminine vibe when doing dancing like that (it comes way back from when he was a kid KID) but i loooove how he can move his hips so well and doesn’t back of from this type of moves

ni-ki will always amaze me. as a dancer, literally all his movements are efficient (if that makes sense). he never overdances or waste energy when uneeded, yet never fails to be impactful and distinct in his own way. you can clearly tell that he has many years of experience in many forms of dance up his sleeve

Ni-Ki is the main dancer and the maknae so he’s kind of our pride and joy 😭 I think I speak for all engenes when I say we can’t wait to see how he’ll grow in the future. I can’t even imagine his full potential when he matures more and gains more experience, as he’s still a rookie and only 15 right now.

You got that right..Niki is a POWERHOUSE dancer and he is so young...he is an amazing dancer and Always catches my eye...he did from the very start of I-land and that’s why he’s my bias...I was beyond over joyed when he was chosen because I KNEW he would bring that unique element to this group.

fun fact abt niki theres a lot of old videos of him dancing to girl group/"feminine" songs as a kid (n he wasnt shy abt it at all like ik some guys r) n he was also a backup dancer for shinee/taemin (not sure if it was solo taemin concerts or shinee group concerts that he danced in) which prob explains his amazing fluidity n body lines when hes dancing
edit: n hes only like 16 (born in 2005) with all this dance n performing experience which is honestly crazy

THANK YOU FOR RECOGNIZING HEESEUNG!!! I still think he's the main dancer of Enhypen. If he wasn't labeled or known as the all rounder/ace member of en then people would easily acknowledge him as the main dancer.

[EDIT]: I'm so so so glad that you are noticing and appreciating Ni-Ki. Just so you know he is a trained contemporary and hip-hop dancer and literally dancing runs in his whole family. His parents and sisters are trained dancers and they have a big and much popular dance studio of their own in Japan. Niki will grow up to be one of the best dancers in the Kpop and if you watch his pre-debut dance videos, Niki was a back up dancer for SHINee in the past and has held dance workshops previously. He dances to girl group songs with ease. And about Heeseung, he has trained the longest in ENHYPEN which is for 4 years and was fellow trainee and till now is close friends with TXT members. He is a BigHit (or now HYBE) trainee and was a well known and popular trainee in the industry. Many companies wished to scout him but yeah he chose BigHit. You can clearly see the years of training in him.
As a video recommendation, if you would like to see more of Niki plz react to NiKi's cover of BTS' Jimin's "LIE" on ENHYPEN's YT channel. He has done an increadible job and the cover is said to be one of the most accurate covers for Jimin's LIE to date. You'll love it as a contemporary dance! PLZ DO REACT

Jungwon had the longest training days he start as the trainee year 2015 in SM. And Heeseung only trained for 3 years.
