We, as one nation under God, are capable of doing incredible acts! A post of a "sad story" can bring thousands of dollars to assist! During WWII, we were knocking out one fully ready battleship every day! We ARE capable of amazing and good things! But it's a real shame when one single person is able to take our amazing nation and turn it against itself. Love becomes hate. Maybe you are against things our country is involved in and that's okay! Protest! Walk on Washington! Bitch up and down your street! But riot? Hurt and/or kill others? Really, sit down sometime and take a good look at every other country! Then imagine yourself living there! Compare it to your life and home here! And please, if it looks greener on the other side, get your butt over there!

There was a poem I once read in a book. I think an excerpt of it is fitting here:
For the sake of thee I stood my ground
For the sake of thee I bore the sound
Of bullets as they whistled past
And each one sang "All flesh is grass"
‘Ere long one came and laid me low
And falling as I felt the blow
    As I laid, that’s all I know
I might have lived 10,000 days
I could have died a thousand ways
But for thy sake, I chose THIS way.
It may not be exact, I’m doing it from memory. I read the book several years ago, but the sentiment is there. I have nothing but respect for our military and their families.

@wweebb uusseerr I just said I moved to the US, I know what there education is like, I LIVED AND LEARNED IT. It's not the worst education, it's just one of the worst on a highschool level in the first world. Also, the US literally has some of the Top colleges in the world. The reason highschool education sucks however is because the government doesn't control your education (so we can't be brainwashed) the states do. However, sadly, with states controlling them they also don't get as much funding as if it was run by the federal gov

In regards to the military which isn't even a part of this petitions all across the US have been brought up to lower military funding. You do realize people can disagree with there government right? Also, what do you mean a US bachelor's is worth nothing? I literally got a bachelor's in psychology here and have been offered jobs across seas many times. You act like every decision the government makes we agree with. Incase this last year has shown anything, it's the dead opposite

Christine S I am 77 years old and a Vietnam vet. I returned home in September 1969 after 12 month tour of duty in Cam Rahn Bay, Vietnam. When I found out I was being sent there I sat down and wrote my wife that (LORD WILLING) I would be coming home in 12 months. I was being sent to a huge supply depot and not the Boonies with the infantry. My father was captured in the Battle of the Bulge and spent the rest of the war in Stalag 4B in Germany. My father weighed about 85 lbs. when they were saved by the UNITED STATES 3RD ARMY. My father was my Hero to me. The Greatest military the world has ever seen. Everyone who serves our military may at any time loose their life while serving. In or out of war. When I came home there were no parades for us and no love except from our friends and relatives. We were taken from the airport at Seattle to a large wear house where we changed out of our military clothes to civilian clothes. This allowed us to blend in with the public. Today I am praying for our President and our First Lady’s speedy recovery. I really do. But that is God given enabling right granted to us through our Constitution. This time maybe you should consider the roll of our military and how important it is for a President to be passionate about our military and country. I am glad you have your hope restored in our country. At this time our leadership hates all our FORMER ALLIES except Turkey and loves Russia and putin. I personally still love them, our allies. Can you speak 🗣 Russian? My partner and I spent about 2 months working with our Russian business partners in 1993 and 1994. Needless to say we were introduced to them through the University of Tulsa where we took a basic Russian course.

@@victorholleymanii6723 Very inspiring story, Victor. I am old enough to remember how the country treated VN vets and I didn't like it at the time. Not sure what you're getting at with our "former allies" comment. We haven't lost any allies but alot of our EU allies are not happy with our President because he calls them out on their BS, and there is much to call out on there. Plus, they are globalists and hate it that Trump is in office because he is not. Thank God!

I CRIED DURING THE WORDS OF THIS VIDEO AND THE SCENES OF WHAT AMERICAN AIRLINES DID FOR THOSE HEARTBROKEN CHILDREN THAT HAD LOST A PARENT IN THE LINE OF DUTY IN ANOTHER COUNTRY. YES, OUR MILITARY (OF WHICH I COME FROM A LONG LINE OF THOSE IN UNIFORM AND AM SO VERY PROUD OF EACH ONE OF THEM, INCLUDING MY PARENTS, MY BROTHER, MY BROTHER-IN-LAW, MY HUSBAND, MY DECEASED UNCLE WHO DIED IN SERVING HIS COUNTRY, MY COUSIN IN THE MARINES, ETC,) DO SERVE OUR COUNTRY, OF WHICH WE SOMETIMES SADLY DO NOT APPRECIATE AND DO NOT HONOR THEM AS WE SHOULD HAVE (VIETNAM VETS WERE SO HORRIBLY TREATED UPON ARRIVAL FROM THEIR DEPLOYMENT) AND SADLY, WHEN THE NATIONAL ANTHEM IS PLAYED OR SUNG, I HAVE HEARD PEOPLE AROUND ME TALKING AND LAUGHING AND I CAN'T HELP BUT STARE AT THEM, WITH A LOOK OF "DO YOU NOT CARE AT ALL FOR WHAT OUR COUNTRY WAS BUILT ON, OUR MILITARY HAS SACRIFICED THEIR BLOOD FOR THOSE SOLDIERS AND MARINES WHO WERE CALLED TO SERVE AND PROTECT OTHERS IN A FOREIGN LAND, JUST BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT OUR MILITARY DOES." MOST OF THE TIME THOSE TALKING OR LAUGHING WILL STOP FOR AWHILE AT LEAST. YES, OUR COUNTRY IS SO DIVIDED, SADLY IT IS SO HEARTBREAKING. BUT I BELIEVE IN THE END, LIGHTNESS WILL PREVAIL AND DARKNESS WILL NEVER WIN. IT IS WRITTEN SO~~~I AM SO PROUD OF THE YOUNG PEOPLE THAT UNDERSTOOD HOW PRECIOUS THOSE WHO GAVE THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE AND ALSO THE PROFOUND EFFECT WILL REMAIN WITH THEIR CHILDREN ALWAYS. THIS IS WHEN SOCIAL MEDIA IS SO VERY POSITIVE AND GOOD, WHEN OTHERS REACH OUT TO SHARE SOMETHING SO VERY HEARTWARMING AND OVERWHELMING~~TO SEE THE ENTIRE SCENE IN THE EYES OF THE YOUNG CHILDREN. THANKS AGAIN, AMERICAN AIRLINES FOR THIS WONDERFUL GIFT TO TAKE THE CHILDREN TO DISNEY. THANK YOU TO OUR MEN AND WOMEN THAT GAVE THEIR LIVES IN THE SERVICE OF THEIR COUNTRY, FOR THE FREEDOM OF OTHERS. MAY WE NEVER FORGET! SEMPER FI~~

This story warms my heart. Besides my current family. I'm the last one alive from the family of four I grew up in. I lost my mom in 1989 and my dad in1991. My little sister died at age 56 on December 28th, 2017. I also sympathize with those who lost loved ones. It can be painful emotions.

@@maryann1531 no thank you, for supporting our great military. It means a lot to me. Here's a story what happened to me. I was a United States Marine serving on Okinawa when Saigon fell to the Communist North Vietnamese back in April 1975. Fast forward to September 1975, myself and 3 other Marines were at the LA airport waiting for flights to Camp LeJeune, NC. As we were walking around the airport, of course in our uniforms, 5 civilian guys in their 20s like us, called us "Baby Killers" now this was 5 months after South Vietnam fell to the Communist North. Well being Marines we got in their face. We thought 3 Marines against 5 civilians, no problem. We reminded them we did not kill babies. They backed down and ran off. To be honest that has hurt for years. In the past few years people like you have thanked me for serving OUR great Nation. In my heart I have forgiven those 5 guys for calling me and my Marine buddies "Baby Killers." But to be honest the pain is still there. Now military personnel returning from Vietnam (65-72) faced this a lot more than me. Again thank you so much, one favor, if you see a Vietnam Veteran thank him or her for their service. Stay safe and greetings from Charleston, West Virginia, Semper Fi from an old Marine Sergeant.
