Ive been using ursaring in prep for ursaluna in singles since scarlet dropped. Every new drop the Celestial bodies grow. Ursaluna, roaring moon, cress, walking wake, and your sun setter of choice

Tinkaton would need about base 112 Attack to match Ursaluna's Blood Moon damage with Gigaton Hammer.
And Blood Moon+Hyper Voice+Earth Power is perfect coverage against everything but Corviknight, and you can always run Tera Fire/Electric and Tera Blast.
Gamefreak added a mochi that resets all EVs. Now they need a reverse bottlecap

You could reset your EVs in sword and shield too so I wouldn't hold my breath.

Something to note is if you're already running encore on a support pokémon, you can encore your own ursaluna to get blood moon every turn (I've been encored into using Gigaton Hammer twice in a row by accident once so it would reasonably apply to Blood Moon)
Fun fact: usaluna-bm has a lower attack stat than bellsprout who has base 75
Its also lower than its pre-evolution Teddiursa with base 80 atk

To function outside of trick room
whatever situational advantage vacuum wave could bring is not enough to justify running it over blood Moon, hyper voice, protect and earth power.
Protect in doubles is a must almost all the time. Hyper voice provides strong damage and activates spray. Earthpower hits rock and steel that resist normal and blood moon is a kill switch, perhaps if you where running a assault vest you would run vacuum wave
If you’re resetting just remember you can check it’s stats after it asks if you want it o give it a nickname so you don’t need to watch the post fight cut scene
How can you check them, I tried nicknaming it and I still got the cut scene

My very first Ursaluna had like 2 or 1 IV in speed which i just accepted because I'm not a man of patience lol
If its 1, then its the same as 0 for Quiet nature at level 50

By how GameFreak categorized all Pokemon for Scarlet/Violet, all the new "legendaries" are technically sub-legendaries, so they'd be included in the VGC with the same constraints as the Swords of Justice, Tapus, Legendary Birds, Ruinous Four, Genies, Regis, and so forth, Even Ogrepon is officially programmed as part of the set.

I've had success with pairing this with maushold and after you, the friend gaurd boosts ursaluna's bulk even more than it already is, and maus's speed turns ursaluna into flutter mane but bulky as long as maushold stays alive

I got a really good roll of 0 Attack IVs and 2 Speed IVs. Not 0 speed, but pretty good.
At level 50 iirc that is basically just 0 speed

I got one with 4 try’s in zero speed but with max atk iv since it has always 3x 31 iv
So I decided to reset and kinda regret it now after multiple hours not getting a single one again with 0 speed lol

Honestly I was planning on pairing it with a Ribombee with speed swap but then I learned that it can’t learn speed swap in gen 9
After hunting for a multiple hours I decided to catch an Ursaluna with 2 speed IV's so I can outspeed min Ursaluna when not in Trick room but now I kinda regret it because I think I'm not going to be able to compete
At least this static mon is easier to reset for than Enamorous

In the showcase, how did Meowscarada not get flinched by fake out?
Spent Hours resetting it so I could get a 0 IV speed one. I was thinking a set with Max Hp and Sp.Atk knowing Blood Moon, Earth Power, Moonblast then Calm Mind/Protect, with tera fairy as it will removed his water weakness and give resistance to Fighting and Dark so Chien Pao and Urshifu aren't immediate counters and gives STAB to Moonblast. Maybe even Tera Blast as a 4th move with assault vest and like Tera Grass or Fire for tera blast. I see the idea with Hyper Voice. probably over looked it likely because I forgot Throat Spray existed. Could also Pair him with Farigiraf, Armour Tail to stop Priority and can set up TrickRoom too while joining in the spread damage with their own Hyper Voice and Dazzling Gleam.
Currently building a vgc singles team, would BM Ursa be great for a singles team without trick room or does it have to have a trick room strat for it to be formidable?
Do you think Conkeldurr will still be good? There’s so many physical attackers this gen that feel like they take up the same space as Conkeldurr. It’s one of my faves so I wanna see it still have some usage this gen
Conkelldurr will be a really strong trick room guts flame orb sweeper i believe, and with blood moon we are seeing a lot more trick room and anti trick room
It’s fairly similar to Iron Hands so I’d imagine it’s still good. Less tanky but actual usable abilities
It's okay but iron hands and arguably hariyama fill its role better
Mach punch is kinda an amazing tool to have it’ll be the premier fighting type trick room sweeper, so in other words: Niche but good

Because of the 3 perfect IVs you get 31 in attack or speed like 75% of the time, you need to reset it like a 1000 times to get the 0 atk and 0 speed, instead of actually playing the DLC.
It took me 3 hours to get my zero speed but i had to accept a 31 in attack
I got a 1 speed IV Bloodmoon. Did a Calc, at min speed it still speed ties with 0 speed. Awesome catch!

Is a 0 speed IV really necessary? Have seen a lot of trick room mons run a random speed IV to outspeed mirror matches outside trick room
it might seem a bit strange, but this mon might actually give tyranitar a reason to be a side option if it's popular. A specially defensive t-tar with sand and assault vest can take 3 hits from an unboosted earth power while threatening a 2hko with a special offensive set hydro pump or surf vs an uninvested hp and spdef ursa. If ursa has 252 in hp and 4 in spdef it is still a guaranteed 2hko from both hydro pump/blizzard or surf. This is only applicable if T-tar has sand up of course, without sand he's 2hko'd by earth power lol.
Is there any merit to using Haryiyama in trick room to counter both Ursaluna forms? It would be a little niche, and I don’t know how it would stack up against the rest of the meta.

What's the reasoning behind going tera ghost for throat spray set? I wouldve thought tera normal would be better due to better STAB.

Hey guys I think I have a way of shaving off time looking for a 0 IV speed Ursa, I had a look at his stats and at lvl 70 which he is when you fight him he will have 77 speed stats if 0 IV. I'm using a 78 speed Snorlax and if I out speed him then I'll catch if I don't I'll reset instead of catching and going to the box after cut scenes. Will this work or does he have EVs during the fight?
This works, no wild Pokemon has EVs
Yeah this is what everyone is doing. It's nature locked to hardy and has no Ev so that's a fast way to check

Why 0 speed is a must? What do you need to underspeed? 52 base speed is above trick roomers
The speed tiers this gen are crazy. This works best in TR so you go before your opponents Pokemon and 0 speed is just optimal for any TR sweeper.

i’m new to this so i’m wondering why is 0 attack & speed ivs important?
There is a move that does more damage the higher your attack, so if you attack with your special side, it's best to minimize that damage. As for speed, if a Pokémon is below, idk like 80 or so speed them it's best to let its speed be low because of the move trickroom that reverses speed stats (within priority brackets) meaning of you're SLOWER you go faster in trickroom

Use a pokemon with 78 speed and see it moves second. Reset if it doesn't. That'll speed it up.

It kinda irks me Tinkaton has 75 atk and a 160 Gigaton Hammer. While this is bear has 135 special attack with a 140 special attack move.
