unpopular opinion: scald is B or A tier for me. i use it in some mob/>2000 HP boss fights and it’s really useful against entities that use lots of shields like balance entities. it’s one of those spells that gets really good with age. higher levels and blades/traps make it pretty OP.
Efreet not s tier? scimitar D TIER? fire elf not even B? and power link all the way in E ?? you have to take PVP into consideration my good man and fire scion works well for both sure it's situational BUT F ? you one shot peeps in both PVP and PVE (corporal tennydick comes to mind) with that spell
I actually think Efreet does deserve S (made it a little while ago) but for scimitar you need to rely on shadow which sucks and for fire elf yea I guess for lower level pvp and fire scion well they updated it so yeah it's pretty decent now.
@@FormalPhantom you don't pack fire elf in max pvp? it's the best shield breaker we have for the pips. also the four pip shadow spells are pretty darn good across all the schools in PVP you get a shadow pip every other round and at the cost of two power pips it's an easy combo waiting to happen
@@FormalPhantom with dragoon gear you get good shad rating its a scim is a good 4 pip finisher after a bigger hit really good combo potential and fire elf is s tier easy only 2 pips for so much constant pressure its like 3 rounds to do anything you want while they either have to anticipate you hitting or risk not shielding definitely not a fan of this tier list sun serpent is B yeah 10 is a lot but thats every lvl 88 spell... and then ffa is defenitely s tier EASY bro that spell is a great combo starter you just elf take their shields off if they are stun blocked you ffa open because you fire elfed and then you have firezilla fire shark etc to combo after with the trap you just got
actually i disagree on sun serpent. yea it has 10 pips okay but youll gain these pips with aura and blades and blade booster (+45) and with a little resistance you can kill bosses like nothing ^^
Old list I know lol. But with bosses that have damage caps (fellspawn) or intercepts (renegade druid, omen, a lot of bosses in catacombs), rain of fire is the optimal strategy because of the high for. Definitely does not deserve E tier.
Only 1 I disagree with is Rain of Fire. It deserves a C simply because it’s very situational, but when used right such as the Catacombs and the Storm Titan, it’s an S tier spell.
Both require a shadow pip so I put them where they are because they're inconsistent, also the concept of dividing damage between enemies is kinda dumb, fire trap is less used than fire blade but it still has a similar effect.
Nickelgoose obviously it’s pve list he’s not a pvp player if this was a pvp list than it would make it 10x more complicated because some spells are better at 2v2 than they would be at 3v3,4v4 or 1v1 you would have to take way to much in consideration for pvp
Heck Hound is S tier it's one of the early spells I still use even at level 62 and it's easily one of the best D.O.T spells in the game. Fire Dragon and Sun Serpent totally eliminate the need for Meteor Strike imo. That said I play heavily PvE over PvP so I don't know the extent to which you're weighing the two but Heck Hound is so useful taking down bosses that I would have it in my personal S tier

Wack... sun serpent is S tier I used that spell to solo my fire through Khrysalis every boss fight.

I disagree with rain of fire it can be so good in boss fights like renegade or satharlith which are classified as the hardest in the game.
I def dont agree with scimtar being D tier. I also think FFA should be way higher. Lastly fire trap is definitely not b tier

U say glow bugs is better than FFA which is why you put it low but it's also better than bull, ffa is also essential for both PvP and good for PvE
