My JD 520 wouldnt have any real issue pushing the snow i just know i would doing all my plowing in reverse using the backblade in push mode vs pull so i can do more stacking. I can push a 4-5ft high pile with just a blade. I know my tractor wont run a blower very good as im wide and low hp and geared high in reverse so lots of clutching but i dont get that much snow unfortunately. Im jealous 😊 looks like if you get that much snow regularly a blower would be nice but not sure how that tractor could run it
I think with that much snow l would drive around at first not trying to remove snow but compacting it. You need speed, we got 30" one year and l did it with a 2 wheel drive BELARUS with diff lock. But compaction and speed was the key. Ps if you do get the snow blower, take my advice, get a cab, never been so cold. 👍
They just went over the road with a groomer so far, I am hoping for a good snowmobile season for the local businesses this year as the last few have been horrible conditions.
Thanks for the idea! I will get on that as soon as we get some snow. I am finally getting some much needed sun! Here is a link to a short video of how I clean the panels of ice. th-cam.com/video/nLxrGI8B8EA/w-d-xo.html Thanks for watching!

@ lol 😆 some might be coming on Saturday- we’ll see. But you sure do have an abundance of it! Make yourself some snow ice cream 🍨 lol
That is a good idea!!
That is a good Idea!
Definitely a good amount of snow! I had to put the snowmobiles back away last week with all the rain…
I have a love hate relationship with snow!
Not a fan of snow at all even though I have a snowblower and a tractor! We have no snow, yet!

nice!
It snowed here last night. If you were outside with a bright flashlight, you could see the flurries!
We are up in Newfoundland Canada! No snow, yet!
II like seeing the snow reflect in a bright headlamp. It is so pretty!

You have quite the blanket on the ground! We are up in Newfoundland Canada and no Snow, yet!
It is funny, At my moms about 30 minutes north west of me they only have 2 to 3 inches!
90% of the time a plow is all you need. But this is snowblower time LOL.
Absolutely! A snow blower would cut my plow time in 1/2 or more!
And some chains would help to
The Branson is using all the 25 hp. I missed it again just cold storms staying to the south along the Ohio river.
Yeah, I had to plow just under the front axels and then scrape the ground on another pass.
Transmission won't last long on that tractor pushing like that...time to invest in a snowblower attachment
I am planning on starting the search for one for next winter. Thanks for watching!
This is where a snow blower would come in handy
I may look for one for next year!
You need a blower on the front of that tractor !
I may look for a blower for the front, I think it would cut the time in half!
More plowing videos qnd longer ones to
More on the way, also digging out from the storm and moving snow piles! Thanks for watching!
