Its all about the snow and how you plow it
"It's all about the cold and if ya can take it.."🎶
It's all about the Lumina, and who's gonna break it.
It's all about the antifreeze, and if you fill it.
You gotta ask Kevin about the time Macho Man confronted Kevin while he was taking a 💩. I swear that is the beat and funniest story he's ever told, and I have never heard it told online.
It's all about the plane and who's gonna make it.
I could listen to Kevin tell stories all day long.... mostly because that's how long it takes
🤣🤣🤣
Best comment in the history of this podcast…Too many blows to the head, I think. Some times I have to shut it off because he just never says anything…
😂
@hahajones Love Kevin but he do be Ramblin off alot.
It sometimes takes awhile, but the payoff is worth the wait...
THESE are the stories I watch this channel for
More of these, please!
Love hearing the road stories. I could listen to this stuff all day.
playback speed 1.5 thank me later
"I'm not getting drunk, I'm just drinking!" Instant classic.
😂
Think that’s a George Thoroughgood lyric
@sheltonhull that is fn hilarious!!!!
"Im not getting drunk. I'm just drinkin." xD
I always find it fascinating that the wrestlers would get in the car and drive 200 miles to the next city after being beaten up all night, and getting to that city with no use of sat navigation
Relying on maps, signs and knowledge from the old heads. A simpler time
@@DSVN23Real men and women who earned every cent and our respect for their grind. Unlike these millennials and Z generation with gps, tour buses, videogames, cryotherapy, don't wanna work 300 days, and expect mega pushes and multi million year deals what who don't have a fraction of the charisma, passion, or talent the generation before then did.
I love these stories, i could listen to them all day. It's like listening to road stories from rock stars
Agree but I need to play it at 1.5 speed.
@jamesbellamy5978 I listen to cornette podcast on that speed. I love corny but he sounds uninspired, whiny and too slow on regular audio
Right the stories are badass to get a glimpse behind the scenes
@@g6241280s-00s road stories are better than the last 15 years of tv product.
This is why I listen to this podcast. I could listen to his road stories forever
W
White Castle burgers, fries, and beer after wrestling! Hell yeah!
"Triple h comes to - "are we good" 😂
I loved that cops reaction, "what the F are you doing...the skid ratio...no you were doing 65 that car that's been following you for 2 hrs that was me and I couldn't catch you" Dude sounded pissed.
Wrestling companies would be smart to not try and tour near the Great Lakes (or anywhere up North) in the middle of winter.
Gotta go where the demand is......brother.
Or at least provide flight/bus travel for the talent
@@RealMattKiefer Yeah because flights aren't cancelled due to snow/ice. What good is a bus in snow that a car can't navigate? Means of travel doesn't negate the risk of encountering cancellations and hazardous conditions.
It's got a lot to do with logistics ie. When the venue is open when they can chain that availability with another venue in driving distance being open.
@@RealMattKieferThe tough guys made it.
Kevin's stories are epic
Cool story for once. It's always remarkable when the stone cold sober guy is happy to switch out of the drivers seat and let the guy who had 16 beers WHILE DRIVING take the wheel back after the incompetent cop pulled them over.
This is definitely amazing
Kevin is such a great story teller
Great stories Kev
How do you drink 15 or 16 beers in a couple hours and blow a .02? The story was fantastic.
Body weight has a big part in this I’m guessing, as he’s like twice the size of a normal guy and over a couple of hours some of those beers would already be wearing off.
Not sure it’s too related here, but Funnily enough as well sometimes alcohol can take a short while to get into your system, a family member that’s a cop explained that if you drink a ton of alcohol in a short span and then immediately take a breathalyser, you can blow a low reading as the alcohol has not fully kicked in yet
I'm pretty sure blowing a .02 after "15 or 16 beers" is physically impossible (only know this because I've worked at a rehab)... Probably was a defective test, kev was beyond Lucky on this one 🤦
Man Awesome Road Driving Stories. Even 12 years ago I got lost between Corning and Horseheads NY trying to find a Hotel near the Elmira Regional Airport. Man technology in cellphones in the last few years has really changed travel logistics. 👈🇺🇸
What I've learnt from this story
Visit Montreal and pure platinum
It isn't there anymore; I just checked. :(
I never had a problem with car troubles
I never had a problem with the snow
Closest for me. Bushkill. Fernwood resort tapings. My diesel sign vs my brother with the razor sign. Nov 94,95
I remember that tiny arena lol
Kevin never had a problem driving in the snow
Pro tip: listen to this at 2x to make it bearable
Fucked up the alternator lol
I got a 96 lumina with like 59k miles on it in 2012. Bangin car
This is what shoot interviews used to be. Just story after great story and we paid for it. Now, we have tons of free podcasts, every star to every jobber has one, yet they are filled with nothing but nonsense.
They’ve told all the stories they have to tell. It is what it is
Rock and Dusty have a podcast? Did Savage have one? Steamboat?
I met you At Staint John arena I met Scott Hall and Randy Savage that same day
"Never had a problem with getting stuck in the snow." --Kevin Nash, probably
I mean. He's from Michigan. HHH is from New Hampshire. They're used to snow. Not surprised they eventually made it through.
Take that hat off and be a Cardinals fan Kevin!!!!
"Damn it, who drank all the gatorade"
"STOP BOOING PEOPLE, BOTH TEAMS ARE TRYING VERY HARD"
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Dude you were the best character in that movie and you are cool as hell for taking that role and running with it lol it was great
Good thing Nash ate the 12 White Castle Burgers with the 15 beers to help soak up that alcohol. Only blowing a .02 is very impressive especially since he around 40 years old at that time. A normal size 40 year old person would blow a .2 at least.
That's impossible as fuck. Cap
Right shit! Holy crap that white castle must have soaked em up. He should have blew over a 1 at least. But he's 7 ft 300 plus and that's like a picnic to him and Scott back then..
Having-a-long-commute-to-work-during-winter-is-a-real-pain-in-the-ass
Lol I'm not getting drunk I'm just drinking beer. Ice cold beer is ice cold beer. He is correct there is nothing better when it's on ice.
Hard to believe 15 beers in 3 -4 hours and u blow a .02 matter fact that's impossible
What if Nash got stuck in the snow with Stephanie ? wait nevermind Stephanie was like 18 or 19 at that time lol this was back in 95 or 96
Although I doubt he had 15 over 3.5 hours and only blew a .02, Its weird to think how like 15 beers for him and the level of BAC would be equivalent to like 7-8 for normal sized ppl lol
So 4-5 inches is all it takes?
Good to know.
Have you driven in 5-inches of snow? Its not really that bad if you're alone.
Nash still obviously drinking the same way
Different strokes different folks lol
Explaining our winters to people who live south of us is an exercise in futility.
Hahaha
The grind was real back then.
Better times, felt real, they earned it.
Probably had Triple HGH get out and shovel. I mean he was carrying their bags after all
Edgy.
I'm sure he also was openening and disposing of Nash beer also
Triple H was not that muscular back then in 95 and 96 in The Kliq he did not start getting Big till 99
@@adampruitt9211Wrong. Watch HHH's work in 92-93 before WWF and before WCW, he was 275-280. Early, early Terra Ryzing days.
The fact that he has his health and he is almost 7 feet tall ,God must have favor on him ,seriously ,cause most guys that are his height and that have been through what he has been through can barely walk ,he moves quick still .
He is 6'9
In his prime 6’11 ,it was proven with a photo he is the same size of Andre the giant ,so you are wrong ,maybe now he is though .
Fuq ya ice cold beers ice cold beer 🍺
These stories are so mundane. Why has this been recorded?
15 American beers? Not impressed. All Canadians and Europeans aren't impressed.
But. Still pretty admirable
Bunch of damn haters in these comments. Geez dont watch it
Montreal does have the best strip clubs. The SuperSexy and Pure Platinum. Insane women
I’ve often thought this was the worst part of the business: driving through snow storms. Keep in mind: this is in rental sedans with highway tires through places like northern NY and Calgary. Plus, a lot of wrestlers died or sustained career ending injuries in car wrecks.
Whats wrong with Nash's forehead (under his hat)?
Edit to add: The Schottenstein Center is the new Ohio State basketball arena on campus and Nationwide Arena is downtown where the Blue Jackets (NHL) play.
Holy shiz, it's glowing. I think it's just light reflecting but idk.
AHAH! Busted! I knew he was a fake lefty
no lefty would be caught dead with a evian water bottle
I also just realized evian backwards is naive
Man you and HHH got stuck in Al …..yuck 😂
I can barely even understand what the fuck Kev is talking about half the time.
😂he smokes weed to much dude ,you can tell
You can tell he has done too much weed. Contrary to what it's heavy users believe, it doesn't "expand your mind" or anything (but that's a different discussion). In the last 10 years, Nash went from being one of the sharpest minds and storytellers to, "Um...fucking...um, and we...we...we were...um, because when you...um...fucking...there was this, um...I'm...I'm...and we weren't...fucking..."
Abuse is a problem . Not specifically weed
Or, he does the podcast high and thus appears high. He speaks quite clearly and sharply on many episodes, and others, he is clearly high af. It's ok, he's near pension age. He doesnt need to expand at this point.
Yea this big fuckn yeti is almost incomprehensible
Done weed? 😂
Bro he’s also in his 60’s with a lot of trauma to the head from wrestling.
U and arn should have a ladder match… u have it won then instead of grabbing belt or beer cooler u do a swantombomb off the ladder miss and arn wins, then u both walk sideways to next week and u request a Last Man Standing Match
"The ONLY thing real in this business is the money and the miles!!!" -Nash 🤘🏿pimp sh*t!!! 😎
You can tell Kevin is a nice guy most of the time ,but he has the selfish evilness about him
Mind of a promoter in the body of one of the boys. Him and Hall got so much heat and hate for their business acumen, but to paraphrase him: Everyone talks about 'the business' until it's time to treat it like a business.
Was it ever worked into Nashes contract that he had to sx traffic an employee w Vince
Big Kevin is starting to mumble like Biden. 😂
I miss old school SportsCenter. Now it's wokecenter
The reason why Nash could handle hard situations is he became tough from being in the military and being a security guy at a strip club ,that is why if you notice he appreciates the ease of being a wrestler or actor so much ,and sadly yes ,he sells out to the lgbtq agenda to advance his career and he pretends to be a democrat ,he lives in Daytona ,what democrat wants TO LIVE THERE ,think about it .
Double J and The Roadie Should've been kliq members! Too much chemistry!!!
Well Jarrett did get to be in the NWO 2000 with Nash and Hall for a little bit and Road Dogg was in DX with Triple H and Xpac so they kinda got to be in The Kliq lol
JJ hates HHH.
@@adampruitt9211Roadie admitted being in the Kliq was not the same as being in DX. His protection didn't run deep.
@@Speedyreedy1218 but he loves Shawn, Kevin and Scott!!! 🤔 🤷♂️
@robertgreen7148 Bret loves Kid. But hates Shawn and HHH. Bob Holly loves Kid, but doesn't like HHH.
Sometimes, our individual friends may not get along with our larger circle of friends. We may try to intervene and think of a way to make them have a truce.
But often, that makes it worse. And it's best if we accept we have to bond with our crew of buddies separately to keep the peace. You know what I mean? Not everyone's personalities click. And that's okay.
Nash just isnt a podcaster. He talks way to slow.
