@@MCEEZR I have Furman PL-PRO DMC E 16A, maybe I bought an early version(They may have replaced the tube later), I own a couple of WA EQPs, WA47tubes, I tried them, and the people at gearspace all said they did have noise problems with their early tubes, Everything was fine after I switched to TELEFUNKEN's 12ax7&12au7,RCA5751.😂
Looks like a great product! But I don't think the extra 20dBs of gain can come from the 12AU7 which is the output tube you need at all time to drive the output transformer. Just a little technical side note :)
El tutorial es muy bueno de veras, pero siento decir que cuanto más escucho ese aparato menos me gusta y no es por la marca pues tengo muchos equipos WA gracias
Yeah, you gotta make it cost effective, should be much more sharp, vibrant, should have great sound features, should have wireless connectivity which could be handy enough, should have plenty of analog inputs.❤️✌️
Would have much rather preferred to hear this demo'd with condenser Mic than a dynamic mic. Dynamics have a limited frequency spectrum, especially in the high end, and you can't really tell what's going on in that range. Also, the voice over Mic sounds better than the one used for the product demo, not the best idea in my opinion.
@@randomschittz9461 Hello friend, no, read again what I posted above: "Dynamics have a limited frequency spectrum" Which is why I wanted him to use a condenser mic INSTEAD of a dynamic, There are more frequencies present to evaluate in a condenser.
@@NatureSleepSerenity yeah buddy, I can read. If you think dynamics have a limited frequency spectrum “especially in the highs” then you’re showing us that you’ve only ever used cheap condensers, because you’re used to the super hype highs that the cheap Chinese condensers have.
@@randomschittz9461 I'm not exactly sure how you're arriving at these conclusions but feel free to draw whatever conclusions you like. They are irrelevant. What is relevant is science and math and measurables. Google the frequency response of 2 microphones that I own- a shure SM7B, and the 414XLS. The 414 has little to no drop off in frequency up through 20K. The SM7B is down nearly 5db somewhere around 15k. It's a well known characteristic that ribbons and dynamics lose high end compared to condensers.

A cheap CL1B alternative would be awesome.
@@NoQualmsTheArtist agree, CL1B
This could be the most interesting, coolest gear Warm Audio has put out so far.
What a great product. Mitch is excellent presenter as always!
Love to hear that guitar direct in with a whole lot more gain. Cool piece of gear! Nice demo.
Lookin’ sharp Mitch! Always great explanations. Love it!
This might be the most tonally versatile preamp ever
Mitch, please...your Voice mic thru this preamp for all further demos!!!
This thing sounds so much better than an Avalon. I gotta get one or two.
It really doesn't. lol
@@BeauStephenson depends on what you’re doin with it.

Great review.
Very interesting!!! Would be good for rock vocals and guitar!!!
Great product review! :)
The original unit is what Bud Hobgood used on the early James Brown records before he got "Funky"!
Warm audio is amazing, great gear for a reasonable price
Impressive!
According to my experience, warm's vacuum tube products all have some noise experience, and I hope this new product can improve in this aspect😂
I have their wa273 - to be fair the preamps are really good, but the EQ on them is not great. And agree on noise issues
You gotta make sure they are being powered properly with a good power conditioner and the noise floor should go way way down

@@MCEEZR Mine are powered by power conditioners. I don't have this problem with any of my other hardware
And... Paul McCartney used it on Wildlife, RAM too!
I need it! ))
Sounds great on the guitar 😎
Would have liked to hear it with max gain just to hear how it distorts
I wish it were Heritage Audio that made this unit. I don’t really trust Warm Audio for actual pro quality.
This is all the fuzz I want!

U87 mic would be a better base line test
My Gosh!!!!!!!!!!
You guys won my trust
Good one
07:06 = Audio example
I am not sure if i am liking the sound of it at least paired with this mic...
he wasn't exactly tracking vocals lol

If it looks expensive Mitch can sell it

yes take my money
If they did tube tech cl1b it would be better
I’ll take a reproduction of a unique, no longer made preamp over a cheaper copy of a currently in-production compressor any day tbh
Agree
Man I thought we was getting a CL-1 tube tech clone 😂🤣🤦🏾♂️
My Man Mitch selling water to the whales!!!!
🫣 take it back😂
@@tytansoundlab I told him exactly that when I seen him at NAMM lol

There has never been a Warm Audio unit I liked. Cheaply made with a reputation of spotty quality.
What? Why? Dosent the knobs and switches on my guitar do the same thing?
I like how it looks like the Behringer T1953. That face plate and the knobs look cheap af.
They had to cut corners somewhere.

“Limited frequency spectrum” what? I think you’ve been using some cheap condensers.
