same here Mariana.. I just so in love with Felice brothers! unfortunately guess I'll never get to watch em live.. I stay continents away and still a student. But I'll definitely try my best!
Mix together flavors of Prine, Guthrie, Dylan and Waits in a bowl of cheap gin and half-smoked Pall Malls, and you'll get the underrated magic that is the Felice Brothers.
I like most of what these guys do but I have a strong feeling that Ian should go back to writing songs like the opening track, which is simple, true and stunning.
I've always thought there's something about their pre-self titled work that isn't captured in what came after. It's more emotionally raw, intimate, and stripped down, whereas their later work is more produced and theatrical (not bad, mind you, but different still).
Update: I've replaced the mediafire link in the description with a more proper archive.org page, with WAV, MP3 320, and FLAC download options.
Thank you so much for saving this piece of art from the void.
When I find albums like this, it reminds me to never stop searching for great music.
Is there anything they create to not be amazing? I can't have enough of their music.

Great find, thanks Bryson. I wasn't aware of this album. If this was Dylan it would be hailed as a classic.
theres time yet.
One of my favorite albums... ever.
Ian Felice is my new favorite songwriter now.
Devil as a child is the most beautiful song I ever heard.
Amen 🙌 makes me think it could be a movie score. A movie set in the backwoods, a trailer in the mountains. Not sure why, but this is super inspiring
What a treat to find this. Thanks for the upload. Every track on here hits. Thought these tracks were lost on Grooveshark. Roll on Arte, roll on.

Thanks for uploading, good save.
I know this isn't considered an Ian solo album, but it kinda is. I wish he'd do more solo stuff.

How many Spahn’s are there
around 3400 in the us, 4965 in germany, and 9703 overall as of 2014 data. Incidentally, mine comes from relatives in Austria (which had 71).
Can you send a Dropbox or link for mp3's for "Iantown" please??
it's in the description
Can you upload these songs individually, so that I can download them and sort them in my itunes library?
there is now a mediafire link in the description
I've also been looking endlessly for Adventures of the Felice Brothers Vol. 1, can you help me with that at all?

putting cd flippers out of business here
You're a saint. Where do you find these, or are these your own uploads?
Iantown I got off of Grooveshark, Adventures I had to get the cd for. Pretty pricey, but it's unbelievably hard to find.
when is this album from?
Google says 2006.
