Everything you said, con’s and pro’s i can confirm for xl600v. Mine has a bit softer suspension and no fuel indicator. You just switch reserve on and have about 100km left to find petrol station. Thought of buying something else, but whats the point? Comfortable, reliable, nice to ride, great seating position, simple to maintain, great sound, starts at first push of the button, and without all the gimmics makes you better and thoughtfull rider. Love it. Plug and play bike.
